FM 2015 profile, Humam Tariq history

This FM 2015 player profile of Humam Tariq shows one of the most exciting playmakers in FM15 and also one of the cheapest. Tariq starts the game with brilliant vision and good all round mental attributes. As he develops these just fly, in my save he has 19 vision, 20 anticipation, 19 decisions and these are complimented by fantastic physical attributes and very handy technical skills. This kid can pass, dribble, finish and even cause problems from distance, he’s truly got it all.

Of course flexible potential means he may not reach this level in every save, but for just £250K you can’t go wrong either way. There may be issues getting a work permit but if so ask your board for an affiliate club to send players abroad to secure work permits. Wait for them to offer you some options and then make your move. Of course you will have to send Humam away for a few years, but at least you’ll have a potential superstar for peanuts.

I would use Tariq as an AMC and the roles he can play are endless. Advanced playmaker may suit best to get the most from his assisting ability as well as goal scoring.

Bought him the first season with Crystal Palace, didn’t get work permit instantly so lent him out, then after a 120 days, I applied for work permit again, and then got him, whereas he became 100% the reason I avoided relegation that season.

Yes I did the same with Hull, very happy they changed the ruling on work permits so you can still sign players, just not play them until the permit is finally passed. Means we don’t have to miss out on great bargains.

Odd that he still only has 15 international caps at 25. Even more so with that ability and considering Iraq’s fairly limited pool of players to choose from.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 8, 2014

Yes I’m not sure what that is about.

Tried to sign him at the start of my game but got countered for 11M?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 9, 2014

That is very strange, I haven’t seen that one before, sounds like a bug to me.

Do you reckon he would make a good left winger? He looks amazing at AMC, but my tactic only uses central midfielders and wingers. Cheers in advance dude

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 28, 2014

      He could if trained correctly.

i can’t find him, can you help me. i’ve set the database in advance mode, but still can’t find tariq

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 29, 2014

If it isn’t set to large or large within an advanced mode he may not show.

Hey, thanks for putting this together. I thought you would want to know that a fair few of your player profiles have been stolen by Ross Tewddell part of the editorial team at Whatculture for this article : http://whatculture.com/gaming/10-essential-signings-football-manager-2015.php/11 I’ve not gone through them in detail but noticed a few that were slight alterations on your work and a paragraph taken verbatim in the Humam Tariq write up.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 12, 2015

Thanks for the heads up Tom, I’ve left a little note for Ross about this.

Will you be profiling Marius Lundemo at Lillestrøm (Norway)? He is absolutely sick!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 31, 2015

We won’t as he is not visible unless loading Norway as playable or a custom database.
