FM 2014 Luciano Vietto 2020 history

This FM 2014 player profile of Luciano Vietto shows a lightening fast, deadly poacher available for £3 million, absolute bargain. During our test save Vietto developed 17 in acceleration, agility, off the ball movement, anticipation and first touch. He also had 16 in finishing, dribbling, technique and pace, all this at the age of 26 and under AI management. Some really deadly poacher skills there, but this kid also has the general technical stats to play a more assist orientated role upfront.

Scoring on a consistent basis everywhere he went can only bode well for this kid, I really, really like him and he’s a bargain at £3 million.

I sincerely suggest taking Casper Sloth from AGF as potential wonderkid.. his amazing at 21 years old and just took to Feyenoord, for goal scoring fun. Immense qualily in the central pitch area. Can drive the team forward, solely. Determination ever rising. Hidden talent..

He does look good, unfortunately not developed enough in our test save to warrant a profile though.

Would it be a waste to train and use him as an inside forward? He looks too good not to buy, but I already have two promising young poachers in my squad (Alcacer and Fierro). Also, will Maher and Canales be profiled? Canales has made absolutely incredible progress in my Valencia-save after just one season.

I don’t think so, it would take a while though. I’m sure Maher and Canales will be profiled when we have good enough future screenshots.

Hmmmm…he could excell as a Shadow Striker…will give him a try as Kaka’s understudy in my Milan save…or maybe ditch Balotelli if he’s still as inconsistent as he was in FM13.

Speaking of which…will Balotelli have a profile?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 9, 2013

To be honest I don’t want to profile Balotelli out of principles, I disagree with everything he’s about, and he’s the only player that winds me up enough to not even want to talk about him on a computer game :) Shame he’s got such an attitude, could have been one of the best talents of his generation.

      • comment avatar Nloureiro November 9, 2013

He can still be, IMO…he just needs an attitude adjustment…or to be focused…we caught a glimpse of what he can do during the second half of last season…shame he couldn’t keep it up…Still, I see where you’re coming from :)

so u wouldnt recommend signing balotelli??

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 11, 2013

Not personally no, he’d cause all kinds of problems. I’d assume substituting him may lead to moaning, fining him the same and he may even miss training etc…not to mention he’d be hard to develop into the player he could be due to his lack of commitment.

ok then can you tell me a good striker for manchester you would play next to lukaku i sold rooney …and what is lukaku best playes ad a target man, would would be the best combination to play up top with 2 strikers? sorry about all the questions

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 11, 2013

You can see some good strikers here http://footballmanagerstory.com/scout/best-fm-2014-wonderkids/, but I can’t see your game so I can’t say who is best for you and who would be happy to move or who is even available…also all the questions you are asking are based around far too many variables for me to answer. For instance, the combo upfront question would vary completely on your tactic, unless I’d tested your tactic I wouldn’t know what will work best. Lukaku could perform as target man yes, but also poacher, he’s versatile like that.

In my save in 2014 Vietto is described as an wonderkid. Him, Berardi, Januzaj, Timo Werner, and I think Angel Correa are all wonderkids.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 13, 2013

They’re all very promising players indeed, Correa is the only one we haven’t profiled but we are just looking for good screenshots.

  • comment avatar ryan November 28, 2013

If you could pick one striker at of any from your wonderkid list who would it be first, second and third choice.. also with there being the new 14.1.4 release the wonderkids wont change because of the new release if that makes sense? Basically does your list still apply even with the new patch?

    Thanks in advance

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 28, 2013

I guess Fierro, Icardo and Vietto as they are the most affordable good options. No database changes were made in the recent patch so nothing changes with the players bar their development of free-kick taking.

you should do one one Fiorenzi at Roma

  • comment avatar Varun Chaddah April 29, 2014

I am using your 4-2-3-1 with newcastle 1st season, do you think he would be a good buy or should i look at other options up front?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 29, 2014

He should be suitable and good for the price.
