FM 2014 Lucas Romero history

This FM 2014 player profile of Lucas Romero shows a central midfielder with brilliant physical attributes and great mental stats at a very reasonable price. The screenshots come from ROSKO, a reader who has done well developing the Argentine wonderkid. Romero’s physical attributes become scary, there are very few players that could match him in that area. When you add work rate, determination and decisions at an exceptional level you have a midfielder that rarely puts a foot wrong but is the perfect personnel to put any mistake right. During ROSKO’s save Romero also developed some good technical attributes, not brilliant but good especially when coupled with his mentals and physique.

£6 million is a real snip for this lad, a must buy for anyone wanting that well rounded midfielder or a bulldog to break up play.

Incredible midfielder. Him as a box to box and André Gomes beside him and you have a near perfect midfield.
Speaking of which isn’ Andre Gomes well devwloped in any of your saves? I’ve managed to get him to a great level.
And i know this isn’t for requests but have you seen Sadio Mane yet? One of the best wingera in my opinion.

And finally awesome job in these profiles. Thanks to you i now have Vietto baning them in and i didn’t know him before so keep up the awesome job Darren.

Him and Andile Jali often go to Ajax at the start of the game on my saves. Romero is just one of so many good Argentines this year. What’s the best you’ve seen Andile Jali become by the way? I think you might have done a FM12 profile on him, and he ended up at Fiorentina with amazing physical attributes. Haven’t seen him in the future too much this year though.

He’s been brilliant for me on my Liverpool-save. Been a rotation-player so far, but is already a regular for Argentina, and I’m only in my second season.

I’m trying to develop him into a defensive midfielder, in the role as halfback, but progress has been slow on that front. Has developed into a beast in the box to box-role though, mainly due to his extreme physical qualities.

Wonderful player, having to reject £35mil offers from Real, PSG and Dortmund after 5 seasons.

What about Agustin Allione, also of Velez? Is there a reviw in the pipeline for him?

I rate him very highly in the game, Only one word to describe him “beast” and is available on the cheap at the start of the game. Another good option is Gaston Gil Romero, similar kind of a player, but will progress a bit slower than Romero. Velez have a lot of good players that can be picked at dirt cheap prices. (Tobio, L. Romero, G Romero, Hector Canteros)

Id say best b2b in game.

I’m just wondering, what do you think of him as a DLP ? I know it’s a huge waste of his physical attributes, especially stamina, but he starts with preferred moves to come deep to get the ball and dictates tempo. I thought to use him as a BBM but i have to unteach him these moves or at least not to use another player in playmaker role alongside him.

He is very best midfielder of the game. Mine has great technical skills. I’m using him as Ball Winning Midfielder. Along with Zuculini, they are really creating magic in my Southampton save. I will bring future screenshot when he hits full potential.
