FM 2014 Geoffrey Kondogbia career stats

This FM 2014 Player Profile of Geoffrey Kondogbia shows a real beast, he can break up play anywhere on the pitch & play at the highest level. Versatile doesn’t even begin to describe this kid, Kondogbia can feature in six or more different roles. I think he’d feature nicely as a Regista for attacking tactics, or even a deep lying playmaker and ball winning midfielder. Whether he’s sat in front of the defence or in central midfield Geoffrey has beastly strength, balance and work rate, all rare attributes that make him very hard to dribble past when in position or disposes when defending.

Monaco have just signed the wonderkid, so you can’t sign him straight away and as a result may as well ignore the asking price shown, that will drop by almost three quarters, maybe even more. Kondogbia did well during our test save, but he could develop beyond the screenshots above with human management, but a poor rating is awarded all things considered. Had he not just joined Monaco and we had screenshots to show his full potential then this rating would be much higher.

Wow – imagine him, Vidal and Pogba in Juve’s midfield for that save!

Having managed him at Monaco I can confirm that he is an absolute tank. I played him primarily in a DM-Defend role and he averaged 7.25 in my first season. It’s amazing how much he gets involved in the game despite having 5 attacking players in front of him.

He does look like a real monster, just a shame the price is as scary as his physique.

Who would you say is better? Him or Diego Reyes?

I personally like Reyes but its a really, really close call.
