This FM 2013 Player Profile of Toni Kroos shows one of the top draw technical talents FM13 has to offer. Starting the game with such high attributes means this German will walk into any side, so reaching that full potential is a breeze bar major injury concerns. If you want a playmaker to tick over as the teams mediator then look no further.

Kroos has amazing at shooting form range, he has more creativity than most and enjoys the widest passing range accessible in the game. A true team player and the perfect MC, just a shame the asking price hits £26 million, but he still deserves a 9 out of 10 for me.

Best buy rating: 10/10

looks like ive found the perfect replacement for lamps at chelsea, if he wants to join that is lol

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 27, 2013

He would certainly fit the bill, I reckon he’d move, guess it will vary on your league position and his situation with Bayern though.

Him and Thiago rocking up Barcelona Midfield :)

Solid pairing there, bet they almost never miss a pass :)

Yeah they are destroying the competition, I also just signed Verratti to join in the summer, should be fun to see his potential :)

Great player, if you are lucky enough to afford him!!

Any chance of a report on Pablo Sarabia? Excellent young winger. Current star for my Getafe, and has improved massively in two and a half seasons.

Just got to watch for Real Madrid’s 4m buy back clause, I am sure they will be interested sooner or later :(

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 28, 2013

Sarabia is a talent, we are just waiting for a good future profile to do him justice.

      • comment avatar Stu January 29, 2013

Well, give me a season or two more, and I can give you a great one! Really improving for me, hopefully will be getting an international call up sooner rather than later….

  • comment avatar Miles Smith January 28, 2013

Man City spent basically infinite money on him in my second or third season so if you want him get him quick as he’ll only go up in price.

    • comment avatar Miles Smith January 28, 2013

I just checked. They paid £41.5mil in season 2.

  • comment avatar Zak March 18, 2013

I think this should be a 10/10 – I don’t see any better pure playmakers in the game – maybe Wilshere, but 26 million isn’t too much for one of the best players in the world. I doubt Bayern would let him go for anywhere near that amount irl

    • comment avatar Volland Machine March 18, 2013

I would rate Özil a lot higher than Kroos in terms of playmaking^^

      • comment avatar Darren Smith March 18, 2013

@Volland, But Ozil is literally near impossible to sign.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith March 18, 2013

@Zak, You are probably right so I have adjusted the rating. TBH I think I was put off by the physical stats as well as how hard he is to sign, but those aren’t good enough reasons to deprive him of a 10 on reflection.

Bought him for united playing him in a 4-4-2 as an Advanced Playmaker Attacking from the MC position with Carrick but he isnt doing much what am I doing wrong as his performance are poor

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 5, 2013

I can only assume you have played him in less than 15 games, if so you are expecting too much too soon. If not chances are you have three more attacking roles than his and they are taking the lime light away.

  • comment avatar Ola June 16, 2013

Hi darren! I bought him to ManCity just now when I started a new save. Can you work him as an offensive playmaker in one of the three positions in a 4231 line, when you have D.Silva playing the same roll, or is it one to many?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 16, 2013

Not at all, you could employ Silva in any of the AM roles and then have Kroos in the AMC, or just throw him in at MC.

Again Darren, have to say I love this site. Newly discoverd by me :) Can u please recommend your top 3 English strikers in the ages of 16-23? Blury question but need it for my City save. And one other thing, anyone knows when Fergie retiers in the game? He makes my Life so hard!

    Thank you buddy

    • comment avatar Darren Smith July 1, 2013

Not sure on the Fergie question, it varies but not around for more than two or three seasons. As for favorite English striker, it will sound daft but I don’t have one. If I were pushed for an answer I’d say Adam Campbell, Mason Bennett and Danny Welbeck can develop very well, but the first two take a lot of work and I’d always prefer the foreign talents over them. Glad the site is helping.

  • comment avatar Seanz July 11, 2013

I pairing him with Lars Bender, Lars MC (BWM (D)) while Kroos MC (APM (A))
