Samed Yesil career history until 2020

This FM 2013 player profile of Samed Yesil shows a promising young striker, available for a very affordable amount. In this future screenshot from 2020 Yesil has developed amazingly, with only CPU management. Liverpool sents him out on loan for a few seasons, before he finally claims a spot in the first team after a good season at QPR. In 2020 he surely has some great attributes, excellent Finishing and Composure, top Agility, Anticipation and Off the Ball. The kid has turned into a true goalmachine. He also became Premier League Top Goalscorer in the 2019/2020 season of this save. A little more speed and he would have been world class. At a price of only £5.5 m, you should consider this guy the next time you are searching for a talented young striker.

Best buy rating: 9,5/10

Hey! This profile of him is great! But will it happen in FM12? I got him as a hot prospect but i am not certain about his growth…

Thx, I might be wrong, but if remember right, his potential in FM12 was only average, and certainly not as high as we see here.

Would you say he is the best poacher in the future, possibly rivalling Carlos Fierro?

  • comment avatar Bjork Lange December 20, 2012

I would rate Fierro a little higher than Yesil, but it is a close call. I have seen Fierro get better than shown on his FM13 profile, and he also costs a little less than Yesil. Another good option is Adam Campbell which is even cheaper, but requires more attention and human management to develop.

have you thought about doing one for Borini?
he normally scores so many goals, kinda similar to Mattia Destro but he scores more

  • comment avatar Bjork Lange December 24, 2012

Hey Jake. Borini can become very good for sure, but he is more expensive and we like to present cheaper options first.

No worries thanks for the reply :) have a good Christmas

I have gave him a couple of games in the cups and done quite well but not scored yet, as of the moment he is on loan, as Destro, Borini, Ba, Zaha, Walcott and Ocampos all trying to get that strikes role (last three I use mostly as wingers).

I’ve seen him play in real life before, but can’t say that he looks like he’s going to become as good as this. After all, its FM :) I think you are right about his high potential in FM 13 though.

I think he’s talented IRL but I guess its tough to gauge his actual potential as there is no crystal ball.

is he a good replacement for suarez ?

      If developed well most certainly.
