Raheem Sterling career history until 2022

This FM 2013 player profile of Raheem Sterling shows one of the best young English talents. There’s no doubting Raheem’s ability in real life, but up until a week ago I doubted Sport Interactive’s judgement of such a gem. That was until one of our readers, Andri, shared Sterling’s development from the year 2022 under his guidance.

Raheem has grown into one of the best, with untouchable physical attributes, real flair and good dribbling come crossing to boot. Yes he can still develop further, but this kid looks the real deal, his career history proves that alone.

Best buy rating: 9/10

could he be better than this ? because his development by the cpu is very poor

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 19, 2012

I actually think his development is quite good, and the career stats speak for themselves. Those screenshots were a readers development not CPU, but having said that he could be developed further I feel.

im just telling this because, for such a promise as Sterling, his development could be a lot better i think.
heven in fm 2012 he was a lot better with only 24 years.
But yes is ratings maid justice to his wonderkid status but not his atributes but lets hope that we could finde a better development, of course he has a good physical and psicological attributes.
But if this is the maximu of sterling it will be a let down porbably bigger than thomas ince.

But it would only take marginal improvements to make those attributes look excellent and that is why I don’t see them as been bad.

Absolute gem. He is currently a regular on the bench for my Liverpool club but only because I signed Llorente on a free and Suarez has moved to the wing.

That said, I can’t keep him out of the lineup as he is just running all over the competition in cups.

He does look very exciting, you just need to stick by him and like with many youngsters, make sacrifices with bigger name players.

In my liverpool save his technical and physical attributes are better than as displayed here after only 2 years: 18 accel, agi an pace; 12 finishing; 17 dribbling; 15 crossing etc. He tends to score goals for fun and provide a lot of assists as well, depending on the role of the striker. His solo runs are incredible :)

That doesn’t surprise me TBH, I am quite happy with the mental attributes in the screenshot above.

After 2 Years , My Sterling Had 16 For Crossing & Dribbling & Technique . 17 For Agility & Pace . 16 For Acceleration & Balance , He Really Scores For Fun And Involved In Almost All My Goalscoring Attacks

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 21, 2012

Well I’d say you haven’t screwed him up then, just need to develop those mental attributes as previously mentioned thats all.

He’s improved a lot so yes he has matured, but if you mean he hasn’t reached his full potential then you are right.

  • comment avatar Wilson December 23, 2012

Ya I Meant Full Potential , I Can’t Imagine What Would He Be Like In A Few More Seasons

  • comment avatar Cam January 9, 2013

His potential pace and acceleration is Walcott level ridiculous for someone with decent technical stats

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 9, 2013

I agree, and I think it is those physical attributes that make him perform beyond what you’d expect looking at his technical stats.

      • comment avatar Cam January 11, 2013

Its good because i think there is a severe lack of English players that can become world class in the game. Have you seen any good future profiles for Nathaniel Chalobah?

        • comment avatar Darren Smith January 11, 2013

Chalobah has been lacking in develop throughout my saves, but I fear that is from bad CPU management and a major lack of game time.

    Hey Guys ,
I am in my first season with liverpool
I put Sterling in the first 11 since the start of the season (thanks to some injury crisis)
and his stats read as follows :

    Apps :21(3) ; goals : 8 ; Assists 13 ; Avg rating 7.5 and I am in 1st week of Feb

    • comment avatar Darren Smith July 24, 2013

That is a great start to his progression.
