Nick Powell career history until 2019

This FM 2013 player profile of Nick Powell shows one of the most promising English players in FM 13. However, that promise doesn’t seem fulfilled in my test save. At the start of the game Nick Powell makes for a decent signing for most Premier League clubs, but his potential is rated at five stars by the Arsenal scout. The lad did make some progress in the test save, becoming a decent versatile midfielder that would be a good choice for any top club, but not really a star.

His best spell in my test save was with Bolton in the Championship, he was a team leader there, but then when he moved to Arsenal he end up spending most of his days on the bench. However, I still think he would be a great signing given his versatility, work rate and technique. But don’t buy him right away, Man United want 15 million for him at the start of the game and that is a bit too much. By the way, if you come across a better future profile of this guy, please let me know.

Best buy rating: 8/10

He turns into one of the best players on the game. If you play him regularly. Deep-lying or Advanced Playmaker. His attributes are outstanding. Passing 19, Dribbling 17, Finishing 16, Composure 19, Creativity 18, Agility 19. To name a few.

Have you had a look at Shane Duffy form England. In my everton save he has progressed heeaps and it is only at the end of my 2nd season. Origonally I thought he had no future at the club but the sale of Distin at the end of the first season left me with Duffy as my 4th Central Defender. With not so much game time he has progressed heaps.

Duffy is a decent centre back, I’d say he will have a profile here sooner or later but he isn’t a must-buy.

For some reason, Duffy has just been amazing in my Everton save. I mean, he doesn’t really have the best attributes in the game and I almost sold him looking at my assistant manager’s 2-star report of him, but for the last few games he has consistently got a rating of over 8.00. Last season he had an average of 7.6/7 and I’ve been using him as my 2nd choice CB alongside Jan Kirchhoff ahead of Heitinga, Bellusci, and Bocchetti.

I had the same thing with Florian Lejeune at Villarreal. In the second half of the first season, he went from being a barely playing backup, to forcing Olof Mellberg out of the team. Now in La Liga, him and Musacchio have formed a class partnership in the middle and he’s got an 8 average rating, halfway into the season. He even managed a 9.0 versus Real Madrid
