This FM 2013 Player Profile of Neven Subotic shows one of the most solid CB’s in FM13. Subotic could walk into any side from day one and really make his mark. Yes that acceleration may put some gamers off, but as far as towering centre backs go, this guy is one of the best for his price and age. £9 million is a bargain considering Chelsea paid £22.5 million just a few seasons later.

Best buy rating: 9/10

A Brilliant CB…just lacks a bit in Concentration but makes up for it with his Terrific Marking, Tackling, Heading Skills…He even got me a few goals as well in the only season he was with me at Tottenham…
Managed to sell him to Bayern for 22m after a season as i had pre arranged a deal for Toby Alderwiereld

what effect does low work rate have on centre backs? low work rate always puts me off, jus can t handle lazy players!

At the risk of pointing out the obvious they just won’t work as hard for the team. TBH I don’t see it as a major attribute for CB’s, that position is not like MC or full backs were they have to cover lots of ground…I guess the only real negative would come in their development, they might not work as hard and as a result growth could be spurted from what you expect maybe.
