Lorenzo Crisetig scouting report from Lawlor of Man Utd

Lorenzo Crisetig profile aged 25 in the year 2018

Lorenzo Crisetig career history until 2018

This FM 2013 player profile of Lorenzo Crisetig shows the complete defensive midfielder. Bar a little more agility and accelaraion you couldn’t ask for more in that DMC role. Crisetig can spot a pass, break up play and see everything around him. At just £6 million this kid is an excellent asset and the price will drop after the first season. I think the screenshot from 2018 does all the talking and is backed up well by the wonderkids form at Napoli in my save.

Best buy rating: 9.5/10

wow he looks really good, i think i wanna try and get him for liverpool actually, only problem is that i barely get any money….

    • comment avatar Darren Smith October 20, 2012

There’s always the option of reducing your wage budget to increase the transfer budget and then offering a small fee upfront and the rest over say 12-24 months…that should help lower the amount it takes off your budget drastically…not recommended to do on a regular basis though.

  • comment avatar Tijmen Stronks October 20, 2012

WOW! Needs some training on dribbling and first touch, but he’ll eat his opponent alive!

    • comment avatar Tijmen Stronks October 20, 2012

BTW, I’ve never seen a player with mental stats like that!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith October 20, 2012

Couldn’t agree more, sat in front of the defense he’d be untouchable.

      • comment avatar Tijmen Stronks October 20, 2012

Yeah, you could easily play with two attacking midfielders (when playing somethin like 4-3-3) because he’ll do the defensive job. He could even play as DC, but you’ll need a defender next to him with good headin/jumping.

Hello there, first off all, well done Darren on more excellent profiles. These really have served me well over the years playing FM so I thank you.

Do you reckon he would play well as a ball winning CM with support duty? If you were to play in CM what role suits him best?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith October 26, 2012

Thanks ian, I hope the site can continue to help you next year too.

As for crisetig he’d be best used as BWM defend duty I think if used in CM.

I have a problem, when I go to offer him a contract he will always say his not interested, in my Arsenal save? Any advice????

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 1, 2012

If he isn’t interested then there’s nothing you can do I’m afraid.

  • comment avatar JoseMouriniho November 20, 2012

Hi Darren, do you think he’s the best young defensive midfielder on the game or are there others who are better ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 20, 2012

He is certainly one of the best, and the best in terms of cheap defensive midfielders IMO.

  • comment avatar Viconcre December 2, 2012

Hey, Darren! I bought this guy to Arsenal, but I’m not sure what to do with him. He came in my second season and then I immediately loaned him out to Sheffield Wednesday. He has been good, but I can’t see his stats reaching that high as in your save. What should I do with him?

  • comment avatar Martin December 5, 2012

Who is the best DM in the game?
    Considering the expensive ones too

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 5, 2012

Depends what you look for in a DM and what age, whether you want CA or PA.

      • comment avatar Martin December 6, 2012

Well the age doesn’t matter and I would like info about both, CA and PA if possible. So who is the best DM at the moment and who is destined to become one in the future.

        • comment avatar Darren Smith December 6, 2012

Well Crisetig is one of the best potentially and Lars Bender is one of my favorites with good current ability. You can see these and more from the list we write.

          • comment avatar Martin December 7, 2012

Right, I’m an Inter fan and will play with Inter of course, so basically Crisetig will be my DM for the time to come.

  • comment avatar Jack December 9, 2012

brilliant player. dominates play, scores goals arriving late, and always turns up in big games

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 9, 2012

He is very reliable and a strange developer as he tends to really excel in his mid 20’s.

  • comment avatar Harry Green February 6, 2013

In my save in the 2014-2015 season, Parma are asking for 19 million for him. Any advice to lower their huge asking price?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 6, 2013

The only thing you can do is keep negotiating, just because they come back and demand 19m the first time doesn’t mean the deal must be that value…keep raising your bid bit by bit and they will drop they demands slowly…you’ll have to meet somewhere in the middle I should imagine…this games all abut patience though (like in real life) I desperately wanted Lamela but had to wait three years until the right deal could be struck.

  • comment avatar Raph February 7, 2013

Which would you recommend more based purely or ability, Capoue or Crisetig as deep-lying player maker, defend duty

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 7, 2013

Capoue for current ability and Crisetig for potential ability.

  • comment avatar Newbie February 16, 2013

Lorenzo Crisetig or Sandro, who is better?

Btw would Romeu have a profile?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 16, 2013

Sandro is better IMO but Crisetig is still a very good investment. Romeu will get profiled if we have the screenshots to make it worthwhile, but as yet they aren’t available.

      • comment avatar Newbie February 16, 2013

While so, will Sandro lack the creativity (12) as a deep lying playmaker in DM?

Romulo seems to be a good choice too, do you think Sandro has advantage over him?

        • comment avatar Darren Smith February 16, 2013

That wouldn’t be his best role but he could play it, I prefer Sandro over Romulo, but its your game so your choice.

  • comment avatar Michael May 17, 2013

Hello Darren, would Lorenzo Crisetig be any good in 2013 Football manager, because I checked his CA and PA with FMSCOUT, and they both decreased significantly, advise please

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 17, 2013

I’m confused, isn’t the answer right here, in this profile?

  • comment avatar Chandra June 4, 2013

Hi darren… Where is the best position for crisetig? Is it DM or MC? Planning to use him at inter in 2nd season. Thanks…

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 4, 2013

Probably DMC but it matters more which position suits your tactic. I use him at MC because that works for me.

      • comment avatar Chandra June 6, 2013

        oh.. icic.. i used 3-3-3-1 (3CB,2WB,1DM,3CM,1FC)..

        • comment avatar Darren Smith June 6, 2013

You have your answer then, DMC unless you desperately need someone who can defend well in MC.

  • comment avatar Craig July 8, 2013

He became world player of the year on my first update save, Class act.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith July 8, 2013

Sounds similar to the player he became in the screenshots shown above, a beast.

  • comment avatar vjcsmoke October 24, 2013

Crisetig is a dominant midfielder for me! Well worth the investment in money and playing time. He really dominates on the ball and can be a key player if you want to play a possession tactic. One of the best players on my Champions Cup winning Chelsea squad on an annual basis!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith October 24, 2013

He is fantastic and at a great price too.
