Leandro Damiao’s career history until 2018

This FM 2013 player profile of Leandro Damiao shows one of the most deadly poachers in the game. Damiao built up a massive repuation last year and he certainly doesn’t disappoint this time around. Unfortunately the future screenshots above don’t show Leandro’s full development, I’m sure his physical stats and dribbling could be much higher. But it does give you a good idea of how deadly the Brazilian can be, he was born to score goals and demonstrates it with 239 goals from 318 games. Yes its in the Brazilian leagues but a goal ratio of 0.75 per game can’t be ignored. Just a shame he isn’t the cheapest wonderkid at £52 million, that is what brings the rating down alongside him not developing fully in my save.

Best buy rating: 8/10

Would off thought Damiao would be much better suited to a target man role

Hi, my names is Peter. I bought this kid at age 24, and believe me, he had so many hat tricks when i have him in my Liverpool~ scoring almost 60 goals a season.. this kid is a score machine, give him a poacher role and he will give you great results

Had this guy with liverpool as a poacher using a 4-1-2-2-1 tac. So far hes been a flop. Probably something i’m doing wrong, but this was certainly not what i was expecting.

I’ve always tried to get this guy, but his price never goes down. Even when he hands in a transfer request the asking price is about 45mil – to compare in the most recent patch I managed to sign Falcao in January with Dortmund for a mere 23.5mil. In one of my saves I remember being frustrated as he was coming to the end of his contract, he had been unhappy and wanting to play for a bigger club for about 3 seasons, and then he goes and signs another 4 year deal, so much for my amazing free transfer,… Read more »

hey guys .. need help .. i am in my third season .. need a pacy striker desperately of about 23-28 age who can score for fun because i have the support cast but the finisher is lacking . I am dominating teams but not finishing teams off . I am managing Liverpool , have plenty of budget in excess of 60m .. i have tried scouting the obvious choices but all of them are demanding too high transfer fee . Anybody who can suggest a striker that meets the above constraints . Please dont suggest obvious ones like cavani… Read more »

Damaio scores for fun for me! Got him in the winter transfer window for 31.5m pounds during season 2. And he already has 21 goals in 27 appearances including a dominating hat trick performance in Champions Cup semifinal vs Spurs! Worth every penny.
