hey Darren can u make a profile for destro he is a beast. for my Villarreal team 2013/2014 season he scored 40 goals in the league thanks to isco and willians assists.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 3, 2012

I thought we’d already profiled him?

  • comment avatar fuaad December 3, 2012

    ok thanks

  • comment avatar Mehul Rajgor December 3, 2012

    Hi Darren,

I’ve got a save with Newcastle as well, I have Wilshere and Maher but I still have Cabaye. I’m thinking of selling him come end of the season because he isn’t getting a lot of game time with Wilshere playing in the AP role. What did you do with him?

    Thanks,

    Mehul

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 3, 2012

I sold Cabaye in the second season to Benfica for just over £30 million and bought Isco as a replacement.

  • comment avatar islam aboauf December 3, 2012

i asked long time ago about a profile for mohamed salah ( fc basel winger ) will u do one soon

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 3, 2012

I thought I answered saying he isn’t visible unless the Swiss league is loaded, meaning we won’t profile him.

  • comment avatar Andrew December 4, 2012

Always nice with these “before-after” profiles. A question: Do you have any experience with playing Isco from the midfield such as MC/AP?

    • comment avatar Andrew December 4, 2012

ps. I am trying out your very own “Darrens Fluid 4-5-1”.

      • comment avatar Darren Smith December 4, 2012

The future screenshots you see are from my game where I use Isco as AP attack from MC using that tactic.

  • comment avatar rb December 4, 2012

Does Amin Younes deserve a profile? He looks quite promising at the start of the game.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 4, 2012

He isn’t visible in my save I’m afraid.

      • comment avatar rb December 4, 2012

Oh, ok. He plays for Gladbach and should be available if you have the German league selected.

        • comment avatar Darren Smith December 5, 2012

That would explain, we don’t load the German leagues for our profiling.

  • comment avatar Bubba December 4, 2012

How’s it going with Leitner? He’s gonna get a profile? =)

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 4, 2012

Almost there mate, got a few other profiles to publish first but he’ll be on by or just after the weekend.

      • comment avatar Bubba December 5, 2012

        Awesome!

  • comment avatar JoseMouriniho December 4, 2012

Hi Darren, if you had a choice between Thiago, Wilshere and Isco which two would you choose as your choice of 2 MC’s playing attacking roles?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 4, 2012

I really don’t know, it would depend on the tactic and country you are playing in. Probably Isco and Wilshere because I’ve used Isco already and Wilshere because he’s English and more versatile.

  • comment avatar Sawa December 4, 2012

Isco or Gotze , im at 2014 and Dortmund are not selling gotze i offered 100 m euro

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 4, 2012

I think the last part answers your question, if Gotze isn’t available there’s no choice.

  • comment avatar Dodski December 5, 2012

How Isco rated as an Inside Forward mate?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 5, 2012

I haven’t tried him their so could really comment. But I feel he lacks too many vital attributed physically and in finishing etc.

      • comment avatar Dodski December 5, 2012

Thanks Darren, any recommended good Inside Forward that not too expensive?

        • comment avatar Darren Smith December 5, 2012

Not many to be honest, you could try Lazovic though.

  • comment avatar :d December 5, 2012

20 Touch, Technique, Flair, Creativity, Passing and Decisions. Isco under CPU management at Real Madrid.

I regret not buying him for 15 mil as Everton when he was transfer listed! Then again I am Everton with no money :(

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 5, 2012

Yeah sounds like Reak developed him in AMC which will see him grow further in terms of attributes, I use him MC which requires a more rounded player.

  • comment avatar Heresy December 5, 2012

I haven’t commented on this site for a very long time… I blame my current job for that lol.

Anyway, Isco’s technical and mental attributes are through the roof! Can’t imagine too many players that can beat this development. Also shows how good you are in developping players, but we all know that already haha.

The only thing that bugs me about Isco is his lack of physical presence. He’s great when he’s standing still but I can’t imagine him being a very good dribbler. His lowish agility and balance is a little worrying. If he improved there he’s probably become a one-man attacking army!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 5, 2012

      Hey, long time no speak.

Isco is incredible and I do share your concerns over his physical attributes, but if you watch him in the match engine they don’t translate the same, he seems to move very freely with the ball and seems fairly dangerous when approaching the opposition. But he’d be immense if those physical attributes were just a little higher.

  • comment avatar Andrei December 11, 2012

Can anyone tell me how he will fare being played in a center midfield position with the role of an andvanced playmaker on support?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 11, 2012

As mentioned in the comments above that is how I used him and the screenshots show exactly how he’d fair in that position but using attack duty.

  • comment avatar Josh December 19, 2012

I have isco playing as ap support in amc as it says an he isn’nt all that good 1 assist 1 goal I’m thinking of selling him an buying somebody else do u think I should stick by him or sell him?? An if so who else should should I go 4? I am Valencia in 3rd season he hasn’t been great in past seasons either piatti had been much better

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 19, 2012

If you don’t like Isco I’m not sure who to suggest as he’s been brilliant for me in the same role MC position with attack duty. But Maher is also very good and perhaps more suited to a support duty.

  • comment avatar djp4516 December 21, 2012

One of the best playmakers in the game, bar none. Play him as an Advanced Playmaker in a 4-3-3 with inside forwards and he is incredibly efficient at feeding guys in full stride for goals. Highly recommended

    • comment avatar djp4516 December 21, 2012

Unfortunately, he’s a liability in his own end and frequently gets yellows for sloppy tackling. If you pair him with a DLP bruiser like Asamoah, it’s a match made in heaven.

      • comment avatar Darren Smith December 21, 2012

I used him in a flat three MC as playmaker, with two more defensive minded players he had the freedom to feed my poacher and inside forwards to devastating effect.

  • comment avatar Newbie February 5, 2013

In my Chelsea save, looking for one more option who can play both AMC nd AMLR to rotate with Mata and Hazard.

Should I go for Isco or Willian?

And is Isco more a winger or an inside forward?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 5, 2013

I would not use Isco on the wing at all, just get Willian.

  • comment avatar Khan February 28, 2013

Just bought him for $14 mil so around 9.5 mil pounds. My 2nd season with NUFC. Lets see how he goes. I still have Cabaye, might sell him next window. Any ideas on replacements?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 28, 2013

I’d just recommend looking through the wonderkids list, we made it for these types of inquiries, but if your gonna ask for a name Verratti maybe.

  • comment avatar muhammet March 12, 2013

    nice wonderkid

  • comment avatar AzzA GooneR March 25, 2013

Isco for me is a strange player. i signed him at arsenal to keep Lamela challenged for the AMC role (I use wilshire in a cm position) and isco is never “on fire” like lamela can be but he always sneaks a goal, assist or a good consistent rating (7.5) which has made him my number 1 amc

    • comment avatar Darren Smith March 25, 2013

He’s a real big game player for me, always turns up when we most need him.

  • comment avatar Skimbo May 16, 2013

ISCO IS BEAST!!!!!!! i want to send u a pic of his stats and attributes. how can i do that?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 16, 2013

He certainly is, we are only accepting images from patch 13.3 now though, so let me know if it’s from then and we’ll explain where they can be sent.

  • comment avatar Danny May 21, 2013

Hey, I started a save with arsenal and I was wondering what tactic you would use to use Isco, Cazorla and Wilshire to the best of their ability.
    Thanks

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 22, 2013

You can’t just pick a tactic to suit a few players, it needs to be a tactic for the team. All I could say is that you should check the players scout report for their preferred position and role then find a tactic that can exploit those.

  • comment avatar David Warner June 16, 2013

In my save, Isco is a conundrum. Bought him in my second season for £17.5m (pre 13.3.3) and in 3 seasons now, he’s played minimum 22 games per season, scored minimum 5 goals, minimum 4 assists, and gotten a minimum average rating of 7.16. He came highly recommended by all my scouts, but for some reason he very quickly slumped down to 3-star CA/PA despite his stats generally making him look beastly. Frustratingly he seems to lack something in my save … I cannot put my finger on it, he plays okay but hardly ever actually “makes it happen” and I wish I knew why, because I’m aching to get him to the “next level”

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 16, 2013

Those star ratings are just a reflection of your staffs opinion, they are always mid guiding as a player ages and new players enter the club. Also he may not be turning it on because of the position you give him. In my save I used him in MC advanced playmaker where he was good but never the star, this is because there are three positions ahead of his that will play a bigger part in the game.

      • comment avatar David Warner June 16, 2013

Yeah, I try to use him more as an AMC AP Attack, but I sometimes also use him in MC AP Attack. I realise that it’s just staff opinions, but his performances seem to be slightly above-average all the time, no matter where I play him. Still, a quality player!!

        • comment avatar Darren Smith June 16, 2013

I personally have found those two positions produce underwhelming performances no matter who I play (bar one regen) but if you experience better performances from other players in the same position then it is weird.

  • comment avatar Goh June 16, 2013

I’m still surprised this site doesn’t have a profile on Sergio Canales..Personally not the best, but not too shabby imo

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 16, 2013

There’s tonnes of players that warrant a profile but don’t have one, the first reason is we can’t profile more than one a day and the other reason is a lack of quality future profiles…everyone knows Canales, so unless we have a great profile he won’t be featured.

  • comment avatar Ola July 24, 2013

    Hi D
I have kind of a luxury problem. I play a wide 4231 and just got Isco. I also got Kroos. One of these is gonna be my first choice who I give plenty of time to evolve properbly. Now, I think both of them lack the physical attributes to play out wide. Wich one do you suggest I give the ball to?

PS. Might try to switch Kroos for Hazard since CFC are super intrested in him but I have no real hope in that one ;)

    • comment avatar Darren Smith July 24, 2013

I’d suggest trying them both out in domestically to begin with and see who performs best, whoever it is keep them for all league matches and use the other player for European matches.
