This FM 2013 Player Profile of Emiliano Viviano is much needed, we have a lack of Keepers on the Scouting Network. But lets hope this profile makes up for it, Viviano maybe 26, but remember a Keeper shouldn’t start his decline until mid 30’s, so you still have 10 years to gain from the Italian. And what a ten year stint that would be. In my save Viviano is so well rounded, he enjoys great presence, good reflexes, his distribution is great and he even owns one on ones including OK rushing out.

After joining Napoli Viviano was their number one, with an average rating above 7 every season bar one and averaging more than 15 clean sheets a season. This pro even managed to lift Goalkeeper of the year in Serie A on 3 occasions. While you can’t sign him from the off, due to loan commitments, Viviano should be reasonably priced come the seasons end.

Best buy rating: 9/10

Physical Stats aren’t great but good pretty much everywhere else and for 4mil you can’t go wrong!

I got him at Monaco in my third season. Won Ligue 1 keeper of the year 3 years in a row before I managed to lure ter Stegen.

Thats good to know, thanks. Really good cheap option as a stop gap before the young keepers start to flourish.

Got Viviano for free at the start of season 2 with my Wolves team (he was a free agent for reasons beyond me)and has helped me pick up 7 trophies in 3 seasons. Cracking keeper.

Certainly seems reliable, I’d be surprised to hear complaints about him.

How Timo Horn, Yann Somner and Ospina turned out I’m looking for someone to replace Ben Forster

They’re all pretty good keepers, but don’t develop much in my save.

Depends where you are in game, if you are in the first season then maybe Ospina or Kameni but if not then I can’t recommend as I don’t know their values. As for the other positions I’d suggest scouring the lists we provide on this site, that is what they are here for so you have plenty of options.
