Bernard’s career history until 2018

This FM 2013 player profile of Bernard reminds me of Lucas Moura from FM12. Incredibly talented player, but you could be mislead by some average physical attributes and his lack of versatility in the technical department. But don’t be fooled, this kid grows to have incredible dribbling, first touch, technique, flair, creativity, off the ball movement and acceleration. All vital ingredients when playing on the wing and ones that will see Bernard create sparks of magic with the ball at his feet. The evidence is all here and just look at that goal scoring record in Brazil, not the toughest league but you’ve still got to find the net. Please note you might be able to get Bernard for less than £25 million with some clever negotiating, it tends to vary. If he was available for less then I’d rate him 9.5/10 but we have to go off the values available to us.

Best buy rating: 8.5/10

Could be a lot better if he had good training! New Neymar?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith October 20, 2012

I don’t think he’s that good but certainly up there with some of the best Brazilian’s available this year.

Darren, could you review Jack Wilshere at some point? I know he’s an established wonderkid on FM, but I’d like to know how far he can go after his fourteen month lay off.

I’m sure we will at some point if he is good enough to warrant the price tag…but we have others to do first so bare with us.

    Determination 20

    • comment avatar Darren Smith October 30, 2012

Is that with reference to wilshere?

  • comment avatar victor October 30, 2012

    Bernard…determination 20.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith October 30, 2012

What’s that mean, I can’t understand what you are trying to say by three words.

  • comment avatar Simon November 9, 2012

I’d guess at the fact he is trying to suggest he has nurtured him to have a determination of 20 perhaps!?! I could be wrong.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 9, 2012

I thought that maybe it, but I have never heard of someone raising determination so much, so I guess its not that, the mystery remains.

Would You Use Him As A First XI Or Sub With Viktor Fischer

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 14, 2012

I’d use Bernard as first XI.

  • comment avatar Victor January 10, 2013

Bernard is one of the biggest talents in world football at the moment. Who knows closely monitors its determination. What player today has 20 years good behavior, teamwork, speed, creativity and still makes goals. In the 2012 Brazilian campeonanto noted 11 goals and 10 assists. Also, do not get hurt. It has more potential than Hazard (as Oscar).

He is represented well this year, just a shame about the asking price.

  • comment avatar Beast September 14, 2013

Got him for 22mil because he was transfer listed would he be a good inside forward?

  • comment avatar dario September 15, 2013

Who is the best between Bernard or Lamela ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith September 15, 2013

Very close call really, but I’d go for Lamela only because I have personal experience with him.

  • comment avatar Jakob September 21, 2013

who would yu choose between Bernard or muniain?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith September 21, 2013

Not sure, there’s too many variables for questions like that, but if I had to pick based on nothing I reckon Muniain might get it.
