Yarmolenko’s career history until 2017

The Ukrainian wonderkid is back again, and arguably he is even better. A devastating winger who can unlock any defence with his array of skills, including great dribbling, crossing and technique. Yarmolenko’s real strength comes in the form of mental ability and physical stature. 16 anticipation, 18 bravery, 17 flair, 18 off the ball, and 18 work rate mean he already has an advantage over opponents before the ball arrives at his feet, as he is always on the move off the ball, anticipating where the ball will end up and he is prepared to get stuck in to get the ball. He will chase the ball down if he loses it too. 18 agility, 18 balance, 16 pace and stamina and 14 strength make him the complete winger and impossible to handle at times. £26 million is a lot of cash but the asking price can drop as the game progresses.

Best buy rating: 8.5/10

One of my favourite players to buy in FM2013.

Different to most Wingers in that he is extremely balanced with high work rate, and he is quite capable of playing defensively which always helps.

What i do like is his size, aerial ability and strength on and off the ball which makes him a threat everywhere. Compared to most wingers and fullbacks who are usually quite weak this is a big bonus.

Closest thing to CR7 in the game IMO although obviously not as good. Explosive winger with great finishing ability, heading and Strength.

I wonder if he can be bought by a team like Newcastle in 2nd season qualifying for Champions League.

Probably but he usually signs for someone else before then.

Signed for my Everton save first season. Had a nice wad of cash after I got an offer I couldn’t refuse for Fellaini. I’m sure he’d go to the Toon.

does he do well as an inside forward?

He knows how to score from his opportunities but I’d prefer to use him as a winger to make use of his excellent crossing and technique. And also as a winger he tends to track back alot more to help the defence which is fantastic and that is due to his high work rate.

Scary monster this player is. Yarmolenko signed for Manchester United in my save back in 2013 and I kinda regret having picked Griezmann over him, he gets 15~20 assists a season and always scores 10~15 goals. One of the best wingers and buys in the game.

What foot is he? Is he good on the right? Need an old school right winger..
