Yaya Sanogo’s profile aged 23 in the year 2016

Yaya Sanogo’s career history until 2019

This FM 2012 player profile of Yaya Sanogo demonstrates the strikers ability. The future profile shown is new and provided by Pedro Silva. From this future profile you can see he has made drastic improvements physically and technically, he’s only 23 and looks like the complete article already. Sanogo’s asking price of just £2.5 million is an absolute bargain and he can be signed for less later in the game. We all loved him in FM 2011 and I think we can now say that Sanogo gets close to that previous standard. If you’re looking for an ox and goal machine upfront then look no further.

Best buy rating: 9.5/10

    Darren, Sanogo is a monster!

I bought him with my no-transfer-budget Liverpool team after mysteriously saving up £1.1 million, with the option for a further 1.8 million after 40 games. Intended him to be a young alternative to Bellamy. Played him on a lark and he banged in two goals. He’s now my super-sub … every single time, except one, he has scored after being brought on.

This is in his first season too, I shudder to think how he’s going to develop!! :D

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 16, 2011

He certainly is and with a real manager raising him he should be way better than in the future profile above.

  • comment avatar jamal November 16, 2011

actually, his contract ends on june 2012, so can be free transferred on 1st of January, 2012.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 16, 2011

A good point Jamal, he’d make a great free signing for sure and even with the starting game asking price he’s cheap.

    • comment avatar David Warnet November 18, 2011

Indeed jamal … In my excitement to sign him I just threw money at him to prevent the likes of Man City getting him first. Not exactly a bank breaker though, so it is okay. :)

    • comment avatar Sergi July 28, 2012

Yeh I got him for free

  • comment avatar Sixteen December 6, 2011

How about Lomelu Lukaku? CAn I have his future profile? Is he a injury prompt striker?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 6, 2011

Lukaku costs far too much at the start of the game to warrant his development due to just been signed by Chelsea. The only reason his price would drop is due to him not improving and it that case he wouldn’t be worth signing anyway. Sorry mate, just one of those players I don’t think should be signed.

      • comment avatar leonku January 24, 2012

that boy Lukaku is good the next season, he play better than Toress

  • comment avatar Sixteen December 7, 2011

Thanks Darren. I’m managing Chelsea currently, Drogba is getting old and Torres is not performing. I have signed Yaya Sanogo and just wondering shall I remain Lukaku? Will him be a star player? I’m just curious about his future profile stats…

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 7, 2011

Only keep Lukaku if you plan on playing him. He can develop well if played but in all my games he hasn’t played and failed to progress as a result.

    • comment avatar awesome April 14, 2012

I am managing chelsea I have really good strikers yaya sanogo iker hernandez and lukaku they are all for future! Torres is fantastic can not stop scoring as for drogba he gets injured. Yaya Sanogo is my super-sub!

  • comment avatar Martin K December 14, 2011

The best thing about this guy is that he can be signed for free by a low reputation team like Pescara. I signed both Sanogo, Bertolacci & even Romario for free.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 14, 2011

They are all amazing signings considering you paid nothing…I have really grown to like Bertolacci too.

  • comment avatar rui December 15, 2011

can put some print of ishak belfodil?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 15, 2011

Afraid he hasn’t developed on my save.

  • comment avatar rui.p December 15, 2011

hmm beacause ei have im in my team and i am a litle dissapointed with him.
    my strikers are:
van perisie ( with 3 mounth injury)
    niang on youth team

Just agreed a free for this guy with spurs. was shocked as man u, arsenal, liverpool and the like were interested.

    Roll on July 2012!!

(by the way, excellent site mate!)

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 8, 2012

He is an excellent signing for free and a real beast if developed well. Thanks for the compliment.

  • comment avatar James January 22, 2012

Sanogo is amazing! I bought him for Southampton for 2 million and he won us the championship himself. I put him in the poacher role and he dominated scoring 32 goals in 33 league games. In one year United and Barca are already interested. A must buy.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 22, 2012

He certainly looks like a hot prospect and the recent profiles I’ve seen show that.

  • comment avatar csatlantis January 23, 2012

Still an excellent player despite suffering a long term injury last year, and an amazing bargain on a free transfer after 6 months of the game starting!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 23, 2012

Yeah he is awesome and like you said he has suffered some tough blows injury wise which, at that age, can damage a players ability so great to see FM haven’t let that effect him.

  • comment avatar Collins January 23, 2012

this guy is a beast and those physical attributes are to die for moment i saw this i signed him worth every penny

  • comment avatar David Warner January 26, 2012

Darren, slightly off topic but how did you rate Salomon Rondon when you were doing your Malaga story? Any chance of a scouting profile on him? :)

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 26, 2012

Rondon is fairly good but I wouldn’t sign him over any of the strikers listed on this site that are 4* and above which is at least five players. Unfortunately he doesn’t play enough to improve in my saves and I can’t really profile him if he hasn’t grown. So I’d probably give him 7/10, but that is because he’s not my type of forward.

  • comment avatar Chonger January 26, 2012

Got this kid second season for free and also got raul for free just to tutor him(and replace kiebling who i made profit off)…and rooney is going to do it next…I am hoping he becomes a complete monster.

  • comment avatar manos rizos January 27, 2012

just check birmingham Nathan Redmond! he is better than Theo Walcott after 2 season! 20 acc and pace and 18 drib!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 27, 2012

I have been keeping tabs on him for ages but in all honesty he doesn’t develop in any of my games, probably due to a lack of first team football. I’m not saying he’s not good enough, just that without a good future profile I can’t provide a report.

  • comment avatar pereira January 27, 2012

hi darren i begin a new save with liverpool
i sell kuyt skertel and fabio aurelio
    and put an offer on
    erick torres
    carlos fierro
and signed saul from atletico madrid
should i just keep this signed players or should i buy another palyer ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 27, 2012

Keep those signed players and maybe add Sigurdosson.

  • comment avatar pereira January 27, 2012

hmm ok i will see that player. my tatic is
4-2-3-1, and i am litlle worried about the amr position

  • comment avatar manos rizos January 28, 2012

Jean-Armel Kana-Bi! It is my 3 season in birmingham and i never saw better physical skills in my life +remarkable 17 marking and tackling!

  • comment avatar Nathan January 30, 2012

Signed Sanogo on an initial loan deal and then grabbed him on a free transfer when I could offer him a contract with 6 months left

Good way of getting him for cheap.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 30, 2012

Yeah that is another way to get him.

    • comment avatar Heresy February 7, 2012

Did the same. That way you can start training him 1 year earlier and give him some 1st team football as well!

  • comment avatar manos rizos January 31, 2012

if som1 needs a DR sign Kyle Walker!he has top speed and good techn abil!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 31, 2012

Yeah he is a class full back.

  • comment avatar manos rizos February 1, 2012

i am in 3rd season and i cant decide who to sign for solo striker! Yaya sanogo or Leandro Damiao! i have 30m budget

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 1, 2012

I’d say Sanogo as he develops beyond Damiao, but it depends on your taste and preferences really.

  • comment avatar Brandon February 5, 2012

Darren slightly off topic but what do you think of yougn striker Artem Dzyuba? Would he be a worthwhile signing?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 5, 2012

Sorry I don’t think he’s worth signing, might be a good but he hasn’t developed well in any of my games.

  • comment avatar Marius February 7, 2012

    What about Nelson Oliveira?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 7, 2012

He has been done and will be published onto the site sometime soon. Maybe this week.

  • comment avatar James February 21, 2012

He’s great and when you first start the game, you can loan him in on a season-long loan before getting him free in the summer of 2012! Bargain! :)

  • comment avatar Vitor Ferreira February 21, 2012

Hi Darren, i need some help here… i signed sanogo when he wasnt being used in inter and i am deeply disapointed with the perfomances…. i put him as striker or poacher and even tryed complete forward but he just cant do a good game…. Fierro is a demon compared with sanogo but the problem might be me… im also a bit sad with Hazard paid 47M for him and he is doing way less then expected, appreciate any help here thanks.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 21, 2012

Well it depends on how long Sanogo was at Inter and not playing proper first team football really as that will leave him needing a lot of time to get into the swing of things. I’d say he would be best as poacher but there are a lot of factors that are different in every game that I can’t allow for unfortunately.

As for Hazard I’d say he plays best from AML as an inside forward with one striker and three CM’s as well as an AMR of course…he’d also respond best to a high tempo game with fluid and attacking movement. That is how I played him with Malaga anyway.

      • comment avatar Vitor Ferreira February 21, 2012

Thanks mate ill put that in action with hazard, about Sanogo in 2 seasons and half he did 9 matches….

        • comment avatar Darren Smith February 21, 2012

Yeah I would suggest that he hasn’t developed in that time then so you’ll be picking up the pieces there not to mention he’ll need to get his match sharpness and confidence back. If you have had him less than a year then he needs more time, if you have had him 1.5-2 years it may be time to let go.

          • comment avatar Vitor Ferreira February 21, 2012

Well the fast tempo and the Inside forward sugestion for hazard has worked perfectly for the whole team :D thanks for the tip, and yes i think you are right when you say its better to let him go =( sadly but its true

  • comment avatar Rodrigo Rodrigues Dos Santos Junior March 1, 2012

Guys i have a question: i played yaya sanogo from fm 2011 in many championships.
In these days i play with 2 more friends in lan championship in holland and he seems exactly like in his reporsts: fairly selfish player keeps the ball to much and many times loose it my game is made only by midfilders, what you think about?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith March 2, 2012

Sorry I don’t understand what the question is?

  • comment avatar Rodrigo Rodrigues Dos Santos Junior March 3, 2012

If you played sanogo, what is your opionion about his behaviour in matches?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith March 3, 2012

I haven’t so can’t comment I’m afraid, but hopefully someone else may be able to comment.

    • comment avatar Ebonest March 29, 2012

yellow cards can be expected commonly, he misses 2 games in league guaranteed. but red is really rare maybe 1 in two years.

  • comment avatar Arsenal Manager March 13, 2012

Is Sanogo any good in Fm2012?Does anyone know?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith March 13, 2012

Just look at the profile above, that gives you all the detail on how good he gets.

  • comment avatar Rodrigo Rodrigues Dos Santos Junior March 14, 2012

I tried that player at parma and in 1st season showed me that can be a world class player. I am really impressed . can score goals from crosses of the aml/amr. what i saw that is weak point represent the places shots.if u teach him that u can make it your first team player with no doubt.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith March 14, 2012

Yeah he is a class player, I haven’t personally used him but have heard a lot and seen more than enough to be confident of his talent.

  • comment avatar Jake Simpson March 17, 2012

How can I get highest potential for these wonderkids?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith March 17, 2012

The most important factors are to have good training schedules and offer first team football ASAP.

  • comment avatar Craig W March 20, 2012

    Thanks Darren

I had Sonago in FM2011 and he was outstanding. But he’s failed to delvier for me in 2012 and at about 20 y.o. in a top half team in the premiership he’s averaging only about 6.5 and once went 9 hours without a goal. Perhaps it’s my dodgy tactics! If you have a fast striker like him do you think is it reasonable to play him up front alone with 2 wingers behind him, or does he need a supporting striker, or indeed would you make sonago a supporting striker when up front on his own? Generally I try AF or poacher.

  • comment avatar Rodrigo Rodrigues Dos Santos Junior March 20, 2012

Craig sanogo needs a good winger who will pass with him not a fairly selfish player ,because himself is a .
I use on playmaker position at parme on giovinco and he work wonderful with sanogo

look for a playmaker who have atribute

    • comment avatar Darren Smith March 20, 2012

Well I don’t have Sanogo so I could only make assumptions to answer if I’m honest.

  • comment avatar darsnider March 23, 2012

Sanogo is a beast had him for two seasons he was my starter as soon as he came wont say he played great but he got 19 goals in that season i came second after inter just get good wingers who can deliver the ball to his feet or head and you will score like crazy if you give him tons of first team football he will explode. compliment him with great partners like hazzard, pogba and mateo who can give killer through balls or passes across the goal mouth and watch him bury them in the back of the neck

    • comment avatar Darren Smith March 23, 2012

Yeah its the same with any talented striker, give them the supply and it makes them much better.

  • comment avatar Shriv March 29, 2012

Bit of a problem with Sanogo, but its probably my fault. Scouted him with Parnaby (20/20) and turned out to be 4star potential, so I made an offer which Barca promptly rejected. Went for the loan option midway through first season in charge of Liverpool and got him. The problem was that he was ineligible for every single match. And I’m currently in my second season and I made sure i registered him, but he reamains ineligible for all of my games. The question: Does anyone have any idea what i did wrong?

  • comment avatar Shriv March 29, 2012

Oh and I forgot to mention, I tried the thing where you actually buy transfer him as opposed to loan (bought him during pre-season before second season) and barca accepted. When it comes to the contract negotiation screen, his agent says he does not wish to negotiate a contract with me. And viewing his contract info under his profile yields a blank…the area where the contract info should be is literall void of information. Hope that helps…and i hope this isnt a bug.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith March 30, 2012

Seems to me like you haven’t actually registered him, that is the only explanation unless its a game bug.

      • comment avatar Shriv March 30, 2012

:( oh well…i guess i’ll wait till the league games start and see how it goes…thanks

        • comment avatar Heresy April 10, 2012

I think I have an idea why you couldn’t play him. There’s a rule that a player cannot feature in matches for more than 2 different teams per season. In other words:

Player from team A plays in a competitive match, then transfers to team B and plays a competitive match. Team C then loans the player but he cannot play for team C until a year has passed since the player played for team A.

Competitive matches include cup, tournament quals and invitational matches.

          • comment avatar Shriv April 16, 2012

I think you’ve nailed it, but im not not sure who else he could’ve played for seeing as i loaned him directly from barca. Unless the youth/reserve team count as separate teams.

          • comment avatar Heresy April 16, 2012

It was the first season so I’d suspect he could have played a competitive game for Auxerre at some point.

I distinctly remember he used to ‘suffer from an undisclosed injury’ till 30.8.11 which was probably a result of that rule. If you had a similar message, then it’s probably it. If not, it may well be a bug =/

  • comment avatar Heresy April 6, 2012

I wanted to give Sanogo another chance since he disappointed me in my Fulham save. He managed to play 1 cup match before getting injured for 4 months. Just great… I even bought Raul to tutor him! Well, all wasn’t lost. I could give other players a lot of first team football and concentrate on Sanogo in the second part of the season…

2 matches after returning to full fitness he got injured again for another 4 months :S It’s a safe bet he won’t reach any acceptable level after that.. Oh well, guess I’ll never know why you love him so much, Darren :P

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 6, 2012

Just got unlucky with injuries I guess, the main reason I like him is because all my fellow story writers that signed him had great success and that is the mark of a great player, someone that can adapt to most teams and tactics.

      • comment avatar Heresy April 6, 2012

Yeah, I know. But I won’t start the game over again because of bad luck.. I really wanted to train him as a successor to van Persie. Guess I’ll get the new Raul with Fierro and sell the Frenchman in 1-2 seasons to a mid-table club..

In my Fullham save he wasn’t consistent enough. He had 2 matches in a row scoring hattricks and then did absolutely nothing for another month… And I don’t mean him benchwarming. He usually lost the ball and if by some miracle he managed to dribble past someone or got a very good cross or pass, he wasted every single chance given to him. His record stood at something close to 1000 minutes without a goal. He was already 21 or 22 then. At that age, I believe, a player should start becoming more consistent or at least keep the form for longer than a week.

It might have been my fault he wasn’t consistent, I admit. Ive also signed Fierro and Niang and someone always had to take the difficult matches (ususally Fierro…), so they didn’t get the luxury of getting to believe in themselves (i.e build up form) playing only cup and easy league matches for the first 3 years.

  • comment avatar Adam April 8, 2012

hey darren i have a question about Sanogo, i have wingers and playmakers who provide for all my players, each wingers has at least 10 assists(in Feb) and Eriksen has 17, i have Canales and Kovacic, even Suarez has 10 assists, but Sanogo only has 5 goals from 27 apps, and way i can get him firing again? im so close to selling but he is such a talent!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 8, 2012

I’d say drop him for a couple of games then bring him back in…try using him against easier opposition to get his confidence back up.

      • comment avatar Adam April 8, 2012

thanks man ill give it a try, i took your advice on damiao too, scoring freely ;)

  • comment avatar Adam April 8, 2012

im having a problem as he has 30 goals last season!

  • comment avatar james April 12, 2012

there’s another player called leigh griffiths anything on him??

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 12, 2012

He is good but not good enough I’m afraid, Leigh never makes it to a world class level in my opinion.

  • comment avatar rifqi April 17, 2012

there is a player named fabio borini, is he a good one???

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 17, 2012

Yeah there is but I have never seen him develop well, not seen a real persons management of him but doesn’t seem worth the investment.

  • comment avatar Sam April 22, 2012

    dude, is saul from good?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 22, 2012

Certainly hasn’t developed in any of my saves so I’d say no.

  • comment avatar Dimas April 27, 2012

Hi darren, in my roma, sanogo seems doesnt developes well.. i use 41212 formation, with fiero as trequartista, lamela as AM, and sanogo as poacher. instead sanogo i prefer to use paloschi. he scored in every single games. any sugestion to unleashed sanogo’s potential? i loaned him to parma n his statistic seems pretty poor too

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 27, 2012

I think the formation could be an issue. I personally don’t use an AMC because it usually leads to either the AMC or one of the ST’s playing badly and Sanogo needs space to move, he may well be too crowded upfront for his style of play. He’s more of a strong, running and finishing type striker as opposed to one that creates chances and works in small pockets of space.

  • comment avatar Martin April 29, 2012

    Yaya Sanogo is a BEAST!

Picked him up for free before the 2012-13 season as a backup to Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse at Newcastle.

When Demba Ba got injured I had to start playing him – He played Ba out of the starting eleven.

    His first season at Newcastle:
    35 apps, 28 goals, 5 ast, 9 MoM, 7.26 avg rtg.

His second season (Dec 11 2013 as we speak):
    22 apps, 25 goals, 7 ast, 9 MoM, 7.99 avg rtg.

Using him in a DLF/Poacher combo with Cisse as the DLF

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 29, 2012

He is certainly a prolific striker and I think if you asked 100 gamers to use one word to sum him up, more than 80 would use the word ‘beast’.

    • comment avatar Martin May 2, 2012

      Just a quick update here:

      End of season stats:

      46 games, 48 goals, 12 ast, 13 MoM, 7.74 avg rating.

New Premier League goal record with 36 (in 30 games!).
New Premier League average rating record with 7.83.
Won English Footballer of the year.

All in 2013/2014 season while playing for Newcastle.

      • comment avatar Darren Smith May 2, 2012

Very impressive especially considering it came so soon.

  • comment avatar Chris May 26, 2012

He seems to go off the boil sometimes for me. I have him at Man Utd in 2015/16 – I don’t want to complain because so far he’s scored 42 goals in 36 games and it’s only february but he seems to be a little inconsistent. E.g. He’ll score 2 hat-tricks in a row then 5 goals in the next game but then go on a goal drought where he misses a massive amount of sitters. Then five games later he’ll just start banging in hat tricks again. His stats are very impressive but slightly deceptive. I’d rather win every game 1-0 than win 3 games 5-0 and then draw one 0-0 if you know what I mean. Any suggestions on how to fix these dips in form? They’re frustrating because I don’t like dropping him. Cheers

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 26, 2012

You have two options, try a different tact in terms of team talks, or drop him every now and then.

  • comment avatar Jamie June 7, 2012

I got Sanogo on a free transfer i have got a pic:
To get him just get him on loan for the first season of the game and he rejected a contract from Auxerre because he wanted to be promised first team football. I offered him a contract and he accepted. A player of his ability for £0 is just amazing (i was Southampton so he played along side Sharp)

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 8, 2012

Yeah most people end up doing that.

      • comment avatar Jamie June 8, 2012

        its very easy to abuse

  • comment avatar Jamie hazard June 9, 2012

Hes played 17 games for me and scored 4 don’t recommend for top flight football. How can I get the best out of him

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 9, 2012

Again it comes down to tactics, if you are saying this in his first season then you’re expecting too much.

  • comment avatar this1989iou June 10, 2012

I signed him for Heart of Midlothian on a free contract after his contract ran out.

2 and a half years later (with about 3-4 months missed through injury) he’s scored over 70 goals and is currently a goal a game this season (and that is mainly in Europe, not just the sub standard Scottish teams), his Hattrick against Ajax (which is why I qualified for the group stage) is a real highlight.

Only problem is that he has realised he is better than the league so has handed in a transfer request, it’ll still take a large bid for me to accept though.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 10, 2012

He would be very good at that level. While it takes a certain class to perform at the highest level(ie in Europe) a strikers form is his downfall or what makes him great and due to the fact he has it easy during most matches he can carry that form into the really tough games…but to be honest this kid can play really well for anyone.

  • comment avatar Yayy June 26, 2012

This man became world class in my save and scored 103 goals in one season (including a hatrick in my heartbreaking loss to Barca in the Champions Cup Semi-Final.)

Strength of an Ox, Super speedy and has great finishing and composure and is a top level Poacher. Won the European Player of the Year at just age 23 averaging 8.71 rating. Also had 28 assists which was fantastic.

Highly recommended. (I also play him alongside Carlos Fierro who is also another amazing wonderkid so who knows Sanogo’s scoring output could be even higher if he was alone!)

Have this guys in milan as a future replacement for zlatan. Hes been amazing, even tho is just 18 years hes score so far is 5(7)matches 12 goals and 4 assist. Pretty good for a 18 year old. Have bigbig hopes for thes player, have never tyred him before. do you think its a smart idea to sell zlatan in the next transver window? hes 30 years old and still wort 20mill and i dont see that lasting long

    • comment avatar Darren Smith July 13, 2012

He is an excellent player and develops nicely with game time.

I’m playing with LOSC, and I bought Sanogo in my first year. I play him in games where we are clear favourites, and sub him on when we’re winning. However, he is playing awfully, I’m about 2/3 of the way through the season and he’s only got 1 goal. I know he is only 18, but I’ve noticed other peoples success with the player. He is getting tutored by Jelen. Am I doing something wrong here?

    • comment avatar Wilson July 18, 2012

BTW, I’m very new to the game, so any advice would be great

      • comment avatar Darren Smith July 18, 2012

It could be a number of different things but most importantly note he won’t come flying into action. You are expecting too much for the first season IMO. In FM players take time to settle so you need to allow him a little more. Maybe its the tactic and role you are playing, I’d suggest playing him as a poacher in a tactic that suits such a role and go from there.

Hes a wonderkid, only 18s year old he wont be kicking a goal a game (YET!). Give him a few years to grow into his potential then watch him style over the league and Europe.

I will say though my story was the complete opposite. I gave him a starting position when he was 18 as I had no other decent strikers (apart from R.Lambert in my Southampton save)and he kicked 20 goals in his first season. It was the Championship though so I won’t reccomend doing that for Ligue 1.

      • comment avatar Darren Smith July 26, 2012

Yeah he is bound to start like that with any second tier side but won’t in the top flight.

hey darren what do u think of lewandowski i bought him in real madrid where i also had benzema and higuain and he was fantastic…………plz also tell me about lucas moura and oscar

    • comment avatar Darren Smith July 29, 2012

Lewandowski looks like a good player but not worldclass…though I’ve not managed him so might be wrong.

The other two have been profiled, just check the wonderkids list.

  • comment avatar Greg July 29, 2012

In my game the guy is amazing. I’m blackpool and got him in my first season. Him and victor anichebe destroyed the competition and we’re putting goals away in league cup against liverpool and newcastle and in the second season sanogo got even better. So much so I sold anichebe for 8.9m to porto and had to bring in kadlec as his replacement so he had someone that could keep up with him :p

    • comment avatar Greg July 29, 2012

P.s I recommend kadlec highly aswel. Barcelona are putting in 10.35m half way through the season for him

      • comment avatar Darren Smith July 29, 2012

Yeah Sanogo is a real beast and we have profiled Kadlec too.

  • comment avatar ziraaaaaaaa July 30, 2012

cristiano ronaldo VS messi VS neymar who is better???????????

  • comment avatar ziraaaaaaaa July 30, 2012

wht do you think of antoine griezmann

    • comment avatar Darren Smith July 30, 2012

You can see what we think by looking at his profile which is in the wonderkids list, he’s a very well rounded player.

  • comment avatar Mille August 1, 2012

He’s working wonders for me even in the first season! Playing as Swansea, currently sitting at thrid place. Sigurdsson is such a beast aswell. Also, is Sinclair worth a profile? Been a tank for me this season!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith August 1, 2012

Sinclair isn’t worth a profile I’m afraid, he just doesn’t turn into a world class player attribute wise.

  • comment avatar Chuck August 5, 2012

    Darren, Niang or Sanogo ?

  • comment avatar poe August 8, 2012

I have him in my Arsenal together with RVP. i am going to get Babacar and Dongou. Since i am not sure if these three youngsters will be ready to replace RVP after 1-2 seasons, shall i buy a striker like Rossi/Cardozo/Benzema?
Thanks in advance for any help!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith August 8, 2012

No one of them will slot in nicely after two seasons.

      • comment avatar poe August 8, 2012

not even Sanogo? I want him to become my main striker in 2014/2015 but maybe even in 2013/2014. I want to say that i like your website and especially the profiles! I just bought Gylfi Sig. mainly because you convinced me with your profile. There are of course quite a few players i have worked with and are here too and some of the better ones have to be Nkoulou, Perotti, Kolbein Sig., Loic Remy, El Ghanassy, Mathew Leckie for smaller teams, Kara as always and Muniain is very good too. I also wanted to ask if Dongou is going to become good as in a setup of a friend of mine he is a beast with Barca.

        • comment avatar Darren Smith August 8, 2012

What I meant by the comment is that at least one of those players will fall into RVP’s position after two seasons…Dongou looks like he could develop but I haven’t seen it happen yet.

          • comment avatar poe August 8, 2012

That’s good then, thanks for the help! Just one last question, would it be ok if AOC and Joel Valencia go on loan in year 2012/2013? I guess that it will help them a lot especially now that i have so many AM/Wingers so after another season i might sell somebody so that both o them will play some games in order to develop.

          • comment avatar Darren Smith August 9, 2012

I think they’d be best out on loan if you have no intention on playing them.

  • comment avatar Luke September 5, 2012

I have sanogo and fierro as my front two now in my team. How would you play both of them in the same squad so that both play at a high level?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith September 6, 2012

I personally wouldn’t as I don’t use two forwards, it depends on your tactic more than the players.

    • comment avatar foo September 21, 2012

I played Fierro + Sanogo in one of my saves in a 4-2-4 and was very effective.

Fierro played a much more supporting role due to his excellent mentals and would drop deep to give Sanogo space.

Sanogo plays the beast physical striker who can dribble past opponents with pure speed, beat the offside trap and out muscle opponents on the ground and in the air.

The strike combination scored me 88 goals in all competitions in one season which was fantastic. Sanogo had the majority.

What was good was that I’d occasionally swap their positions through player instructions if one was struggling and sometimes it would result in Fierro becoming the poacher and decimating opponents with his technical and football smarts.

They form a good pair depending on your tactics.

      • comment avatar Darren Smith September 21, 2012

Yeah to be fair I think they are just excellent players regardless of tactic whether it be two upfront or lone striker.

  • comment avatar sonsa October 27, 2012

beast…best striker in the game by far..look at my profile of sanogo much better then this one although i bought him at the start of the game and coached with best coaches but he can still improve
