Vladimir Weiss’ career history until 2019

I am a huge fan of Weiss, this wonderkid is a proper attacking midfielder with versatility and an explosive style. Best used from the right wing, the 21 year old can cut inside or just use his skill and pace to take on the full back. £15.5 million is a fair amount of cash but if you lack the reputation and cash to sign the very best this kid is the next best thing. Weiss can do a great job in any team from the start and develops into one of the most dangerous wingers on FM 2012.

Best buy rating: 8/10

Just signed Weiss for my Newcastle team after the end of my first season for a bargin £5m. Now i have Weiss and Torje fighting for AMR spot and Jonàs on left, who better keep up his impressive performances from last season or could find Weiss or Torje taking his spot. Not bad attacking 3 of Torje & Weiss (AMr & AML) with Niang up front :)

Yeah I have him with Malaga and in my third season he scored 15 and set up 21!

i have one question for you i need a left inside forward and i plan on selling carzola should i buy weiss or should i wait for one year and try to get Shinji Kagawa

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 23, 2011

I wouldn’t recommend playing Weiss from the left, while he’d do OK the difference in his game is massive compared to when he starts from the right. I’d say that Kagawa is worth waiting for if you can…why not look at Lucas Moura to see if he’s affordable?

Darren, I’m looking for the best overall young striker that you recommend. I’m also looking for a top front three attacking midfielders like Douglas Costa, Mario Gotze, Eden Hazard and players like that

I would recommend Fierro as my best overall striker followed by Torres…I think you’ve named the best front three already.

  • comment avatar Matt Skeer December 14, 2011

Okay, thanks for the response Darren but now I need a AMR that’s not Weiss because he’s on loan at Espanyol

Sanogo, Muniain, Jordan Ayew, Mbaye Niang, Vaclav Kadlec, Damiao or Nangis ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 14, 2011

Ayew would grow into a beast on the right.

  • comment avatar Matt Skeer December 14, 2011

Yeah that’s where I’m playing him but I’m looking for that new beastly striker, my scouts say Muniain is the best but I don’t agree and I was looking for your opinion on who is the best striker there.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 15, 2011

If its a beast you’re looking for I’d choose Damiao.

Weiss’ attributes are going down in my game. at the age of only 23. any advice?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 19, 2011

All you can do is the three most important things to raise a player. They are first team football, great coaches and the correct training schedule. Take care with all of these and he should improve.

Better Profile and he still has room for improvement. Trained him myself since i signed him for Juve

Got Weiss in my third season for Espanyol for 2.8 million, what a bargain, such a great player!!!!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith July 21, 2012

That certainly is a right bargain.

  • comment avatar AnAlbin August 1, 2012

Weiss is absolute gold! Got him for free after 3 seasons for my Birmingham save. Although Nathan Redmond is still my number one, he becomes an absolute machine with the right training, he even tops niang in goalscoring!

agree he’s truly brilliant, he had a similar impact for me with Malaga.
