Vaclav Kadlec’s scouting report from Cagigao of Arsenal

Vaclav Kadlec’s profile aged 27 in the year 2019

Vaclav Kadlec’s career history until 2019

This FM 2012 player profile of Vaclav Kadlec just demonstrates pure class. Kadlec starts with very good attributes, but his potential takes the wonderkid far beyond that ability. This 19 year old develops into one of the worlds most dangerous strikers and is available for a baragin price of £4.1 million. The only stat you need to know is that Kadlec has scored 117 goals from 189 league matches between the years of 2011-2019. During this time the striker enjoyed 5 seasons at Porto and 3 seasons at Liverpool, so not the easiest teams to play for. My only tip is to train Kadlec individually on his composure as that attribute could be the difference between him been a prolific scorer.

Best buy rating: 8/10

Sorry I can’t see him in my game.

    • comment avatar jose mourinho December 25, 2011

      he’s suck man
got only one star potential from my scout

      • comment avatar Darren Smith December 25, 2011

I think you need to sack your scout. ;)

  • comment avatar Martin K November 25, 2011

he is incredible. Scored a double for me in his first season to win the cl against Barcelona. 2 chances 2 goals.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 25, 2011

Couldn’t agree more…I chose Niang over him with Malaga but that’s just because I fancied a change from FM11. :)

  • comment avatar Martin K November 25, 2011

i dont have Niang yet, as i signed him for next season. But from my point of view kadlec is the best striker you can get.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith November 25, 2011

I think that is a solid point to be honest….although what I have experienced with Fierro shows him to be the most consistent striker I’ve ever had.

  • comment avatar rui December 16, 2011

does any one tried to put kadleck in aml with expessific training ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 16, 2011

I haven’t signed him yet I’m afraid but sure he could develop into that role.

  • comment avatar Matt Skeer December 20, 2011

Who do you believe to be the best striker on your list Darren ? Neymar, Fierro , Damiao, Sanogo, Kadlec, Niang, Nangis, Muniain or Erick Torres ? Love a response :)

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 20, 2011

I would say Fierro but that’s a very biased vote to be honest…he’s already scored 36 goals in my 2017/18 La Liga campaign and there’s like 10 games to go. Other than Fierro I really like the looks of Damiao too.

    • comment avatar pereira January 21, 2012

for me is ayew the kid as it all buy it and you will see. i have niang ayew and damiao and im about to tell how they went this with less 4 or 5 games to the final of the premier league ( im with arsenal)

      ayew-31 games and 27 goals
      damiao-41 and 24 goals ( misses a lot of easy goals )
niang-29 games 20 goals ( i sent him on loan to lorient and it was the best striker in the league and lorient finished in third on the french league i will see how do kid grows in my team )

  • comment avatar Matt Skeer December 20, 2011

What role do you believe I should play Damiao and Fierro in ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 20, 2011

Well Fierro would definitely work best as poacher and I think the same for Damiao but haven’t signed him so don’t know from personal experience.

  • comment avatar Fábio Morgado December 20, 2011

Fierro has done wonders as trequartista for my Benfica. Now im at Man Utd and in need of a 3rd striker. Wich one do you recomend:Sanogo (5M); Muniain (25M); Ayew (10M)?

PS: i use your 4-5-1 Arsenal and it´s a wonderful tactic!

    Keep up the good work!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 20, 2011

I would say Ayew to be used as poacher. He seems like a really special player and could be adapted for the right wing as inside forward too.

      • comment avatar Fábio Morgado December 20, 2011

Thanks for the advice. Im about to contract Stegen for an absolute bargain: 8.75M, is minimum fee rlease clause! And he developed into a better GK than the one in your screenshots. If you want i can provide you a screen

        • comment avatar Darren Smith December 20, 2011

That’s OK mate, I have Stegen with Malaga and have just updated his profile to show a better future now.

  • comment avatar vasilis January 30, 2012

hey it good idea to use kadlec as poacher in my 4-3-3 formation.i play as you in malaga:)

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 30, 2012

Yeah I think he would be best as poacher.

  • comment avatar Super Danny Welbeck February 8, 2012

Started a save with West Ham and after selling on any deadwood and terminating all loan deals, I invested in Ravel Morrison and Vadlar Kadlec. They have been superb. Kadlec is just brilliant. Like that scout report says he’s played best as a poacher. He has the pace to get on the end of through balls and also has the touch and passing ability to link up with a trequartista type player. Play him as in a 4-2-3-1, with 3 creative types behind him he is lethal.

  • comment avatar D. Jacobson February 25, 2012

This guy’s probably my favorite player in the game. I buy him with every one of my teams and he always does amazing, whether it be as a Poacher or an AML. He scores great goals and makes great assists. Definitely train him on composure and if used as an AML, he’ll score boatloads with cutting in and placing shots.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 25, 2012

He is one of those players that is just special from the off, sometimes you’ll need patience but he’s well worth investing in.

  • comment avatar Heresy February 27, 2012

I wanted to try the Czech out. But really, for those starting attributes he wants 50k/week wages. Just for that I dismissed him right off the bat. It may be due to my club’s reputation of course (started at PSG for fun again) . Maybe a club with lower rep would be able to sign him for less. But I like having players that don’t cost the club millions in wages, at least not at the start. Hell, in the 3rd season Niang won France the semi-final in World Champs and demanded 80k/week, which I lowered to 55k ;) But by then he was twice the player Kadlec is at the start of the game. Just imagine what the Czech would want in 3 years time when he starts to get better…

I don’t like spending a lot on players who don’t deserve this. In the 2014/15 season I spend three times less on wages than Man City does, and half of Man U and Arsenal’s expendures, and I destroy them 4-1 or even 7-2 when playing at home. I like keeping the wage budget tightly under control ;)

    • comment avatar Heresy February 27, 2012

Oh, btw, If I wanted to sell him after a few seasons, not many would want him due to his wage demands. such a shame…

  • comment avatar Ricardo April 6, 2012

great player. not only scores but also asts in my team.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 7, 2012

He does seem to have a good all round game but needs to develop the composure (which he naturally does over time.)

      • comment avatar Ricardo April 7, 2012

sure, that would make him even better.

  • comment avatar Hawk April 7, 2012

I bought him in my second season from Sparta. He player 19 games there and scored 10. Will that have hindered his development too much? Can I still make him world class?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 7, 2012

That won’t be a problem…you need to play him more over the next two seasons though.

      • comment avatar Hawk April 7, 2012

If I play him as a starter would that be the best way to develop him?

        • comment avatar Darren Smith April 8, 2012

The more experience a player gets the faster he’ll improve so yes.

  • comment avatar Hugo Falcao May 15, 2012

he is not Human…40 matches..46 goals and a lot of goal assists :D

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 15, 2012

Certainly a beast if use him right.

  • comment avatar jiMmy May 25, 2012

kadlec in my savegame is not consistent enough. just score when played with lower club. this is my 3rd time using him. just not good enough for me. sold to Lyon for 15m :(

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 25, 2012

Depends how many seasons in you are, if your just in first or second season you’re expecting too much as he’s a developer.

  • comment avatar gavin May 27, 2012

dunno why u rate him so highly?? He’s a bargain but won’t be world class, although still a good striker for mid teams and good cover for top teams.. His composure prevent him to become 30+ goals a season striker, and his speed is good but nothing sensational..

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 27, 2012

No offense intended, but if you haven’t managed him then you can’t comment on whether he develops to be world class and if you have managed him then I’d suggest you aren’t doing it right. I’ve seen saves where gamers have had him scoring 30+ goals a season at the age of 23-24 and I myself found him excellent after three seasons. Not to mention he plays well for every single side in all my saves under the CPU’s management. If you don’t manage past three seasons then you won’t see the benefits. The screenshots above aren’t his full development as the CPU was manager, he should go way beyond this, that is why he’s rated so highly. Unfortunately I have to rate past what is merely seen, purely because the screenshots required aren’t available. Due to the composure that can be improved, some gamers will struggle but those who train correctly and go past three seasons will get the benefits.

Having said all of that, he was rated as one of the first players on the lists, so 9 does now seem a little too high, but he’s certainly worth 8-8.5

  • comment avatar neutronstar44 June 1, 2012

He gets injured a lot on my save. Lost him for a year in 2014. thankfully leigh griffiths bailed me out(the guy scored 40 goals in all competitions). btw awesome website.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 1, 2012

That’s a shame, I assume he was doing the business before then though.

  • comment avatar Jack June 27, 2012

Hey Darren, loving the site, just signed him on my Liverpool save how do I train him?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 27, 2012

No specific recommendations, just get some good schedules and keep training him individually on his composure and finishing, offering game time is more important.

  • comment avatar grunf lazial July 9, 2012

from season 1 i signed him and decided to force him as aml in attacking triangle with cisse and schellotto and now i m playing 5-6seasons and his regular numbbers at the ends of seasons were 35 games 17-18 goals +his speed is like a wind so definately great wingman

    • comment avatar Darren Smith July 10, 2012

Yeah he has the natural ability to play out wide and always going to be dangerous when cutting inside.

  • comment avatar J Eazy July 11, 2012

Signed him first season for Napoli (along with Sanogo and Fierro a bit later) and due to being stuck behind Cavani and refusing to ever go out on loan he hasn’t progressed. In 2015, contract is about to expire and has amassed 4 goals in 3 and a half seasons. Reading all everyones comments makes me feel silly but I can’t see how he will progress in my side. Any ideas how I might retrieve his loss potential or should I just resign myself to him scoring the winner against me in the Champions League in 3 years time?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith July 11, 2012

I think its too late to revive him unless he plays week in week out….without first team football no player will develop properly.

      • comment avatar J Eazy July 11, 2012

Pains me to admit that your right! Cavani’s fitness and and form are just beyond sublime and has ensured that no-one else has got a look in.

  • comment avatar mr x July 18, 2012

I’d like to show how he developed in my Ajax squad; he didn’t play very well in his first season (only 2~3 goals in his first 10 matches), but after that he grew A LOT as a striker. I use him as a poacher in a 4-5-1 tactic.
41 goals and 11 assists in 30 matches on his last season, quite impressive I’d say.

  • comment avatar Andre June 23, 2013

I c an send you a screen of kadlek in my Dortmund save … you will be impressed and surely a 10/10.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 23, 2013

Is it from FM13 and the most recent patch?
