This FM 2012 player profile of Romulo shows a real all round midfielder with skills to play many different roles. Romulo could walk onto the bench of any top team in Europe and certainly develops into a first team star. I really like his broad, flexible attributes that seem to suggest he is comfortable in every area of his game. Romulo also has great potential and at £8.75 million seems a must buy if the cash is available.

Best buy rating: 8.5/10

    Great player

Also try Diego Souza at Atletico Mineiro

      Couldn’t find him unfortunately.

That’s cause he actually plays for Vasco. Not a great player, though.

He seems to be a good CM support or deep lying playmaker but I wonder if he could develop into a box-to-box midfielder. He seems to have all the right physical and mental stats for it but lacks in the technical department which is a shame and the only thing holding him back from being one of the greatest midfielders.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 15, 2012

Yeah I agree, he’s close to been a Box to box midfielder but desperately needs better stats going forward in the technical department for that.

Try Ganso, Moussa Sissoko and Yann Mvilla – they all seem to be very good players.

      Yeah we’ve profiled them here.

Darren, would you recommend developing him into a anchor man? or a deep lying playmaker? as i need one of these two roles for my Chelsea team.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 29, 2012

I’d say deep lying playmaker to be honest, though he may develop to play both just as well.

thanks building a benfica team to dominate europe. halfway through the first season having totally rebuilt the team and gaitan has 6 goals and 14 assists from 10 appearances he is a machine, recently got injured though :(. Kadlec has 12 goals from 15 appearances top by 6 points. What do you think of rodrigo

        • comment avatar Darren Smith May 31, 2012

He looks very good but never really hits top gear in my games due to poor CPU management.

  • comment avatar ryan June 1, 2012

i could send you a future profile if he develops well in my game

  • comment avatar Joe June 4, 2012

I developed him into a DPL and with Dzagoev as the AP, Chalobah as an Anchor man and Yarmolenko and Mata as Inside Forwards and i have a amazing midfield thanks for all the player profiles etc:)

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 4, 2012

No problem Joe, just glad it helps.

Darren I plan to have Stegen in goal, Sandro LB, Luiz CB, Either Zouma/Sakho or another top class central defender, then Corchia RB. M’Villa Anchor, Romulor or Allen DLP, Dzagoev or Kroos or another AP, and then Yarmolenko and Mata on wings, Also need replacement for Torres thinking of either Fierro, Kadlec, Doumbia or Sangaro. Really need help with this cause i dont know who to sign, what would you consider to be must buys that could make this team deadly? I will have a lot of money as i am on track to winning the treble this year.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 7, 2012

I’d say those players listed are deadly enough you don’t need to look at anyone else.

  • comment avatar Joe June 7, 2012

Ok but any particular one of those strikers? Or a keeper? I think i am going to go with Zouma CB though.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 7, 2012

Stegen in goal and Fierro or Doumbia.

  • comment avatar Joe June 7, 2012

Do you rate Stegen higher than Guilherme?
