John Fleck’s career history until 2017

This FM 2012 player profile of John Fleck shows both strength and weakness. While Fleck develops some excellent technical and mental attributes his physical stats are a little worrying. Yes Fleck does improve on this weakness, but only just enough to stop it effecting his overall game. However, that is going off a future profile where the CPU is managing, I think that with the right guidance and training Fleck could be much better than shown above. Fleck could also be adapted to play as inside forward or advanced playmaker from the left wing, but only if you can sort out his weakness (pace and acceleration.) With so many possibilities and some exciting potential the £2.2 million asking price seems very reasonable hence my 8/10.

Best buy rating: 8/10

Bought him for both my Wolves and Wigan games. Still hasn’t really got going on my Wolves league yet but his is immense for my Wigan team. Think he has the top average in the league in my 2nd season playing AMC.

I do think he can take a little time to warm up but if used and trained correctly looks very solid.

hi can you kyle ebicilio from arsenal the kid have some good attributes with first team game and right training he sould give something what do you think ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 4, 2012

I tried typing in the name but nothing comes up.

  • comment avatar p January 4, 2012

    the name is Kyle ebecilio

  • comment avatar p January 4, 2012

i made a mistake on the second name. in my opinion the kid as some potential not for a big star but just enought for make a name for him self

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 4, 2012

I found him under the correct spelling, don’t rate him though I’m afraid he lacks the quality required.

  • comment avatar p January 4, 2012

hmm but with some training and some good time on the kid should work ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 4, 2012

I’m sorry if I come across as a little abrupt sometimes but he really has nothing to offer in the game. His PA isn’t any good, his CA is very bad and I have never seen him do anything even decent in any of my games…I just like to be offer my honest opinion, but to be fair, that is all it is and as this conversation shows everyone thinks and sees things differently :) I could be wrong, but from my FM experiences I don’t see him as a worthwhile player.

  • comment avatar p January 4, 2012

now problem . im just wanna try to give time to some of the kids of my young team to see what it does…
im gonna put in her some players and if any of them is worhy tell me

    lucas ocampos-river
    daniel villalva – river
    uros cosic -cska moscow
    coquelin – arsenal
    georgy shennikov
    coutinho -inter
    fabio borini
    neto – fiorentina
    renato neto – scp

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 5, 2012

I can’t see most of them to be honest but not sure if the spelling is correct. I will list the ones I can see and think are good.

Coutinho is reasonable and could develop well while Renato Neto is a little iffy, he could be good but needs some developing.

Fleck is an Awesome player. Darren, I bought Jali in the second half of the first season to my Napoli save, he works so well that in the end of the season, only 6 months later, bayern munchen took him from me with an undeniable bit, so, I looked arround and found Andrea Poli to replacement, I believe he’s going to be a great star but I’m still insecure about it, could you take a look at him in your saves?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 5, 2012

Poli develops very, very well in one of my saves….I think you have a real talent there.

      • comment avatar Jorge Fernandes January 5, 2012

        thanks a lot

  • comment avatar N.Loureiro January 5, 2012

    Hey, Darren

Sorry to bother you again but I need your opinion on Valencia’s Salva Ruiz, Atletico Madrid’s Ruben Perez (on loan at Getafe) and italian youngster Marco Ezio Fossati. The first two I have in my Valencia save. Ruiz is currently my first choice left-back aged only 16 and Perez will come in the summer to provide cover for Ruben Yttergard Jensen (an old acquaintace of yours) while Fossati looks to be one for the future according to my scouts. Could you tell me how they fare?

Also, did you use genie scout to learn about Ebecilio’s PA and CA? Or some other tool?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 5, 2012

I’ll start with the last question first, for the CA and PA I didn’t use anything…what I actually mean is his CA according to what I can see and experience in the game. Then the PA is how I have seen him develop, scouts reports and other stuff. I don’t literally look at the CA and PA as that can be misleading…I mean the CA and PA in my opinion when I use those terms. I don’t use genie scout as it feels a but like cheating, nothing against anyone who does of course, just a weird thing I have.

Anyway, the players mentioned. Ruiz isn’t very good and doesn’t develop well in any of my saves, Perez is an interesting player as he developed reasonably well to have good mental attributes and passing but his physical and technical attributes aren’t good enough. With the right guidance you could make something of him. I personally don’t like Fossati and can’t ever see him becoming much.

  • comment avatar N.Loureiro January 8, 2012

    hey Darren,

How do you rate PSV’s Labyad and Mehdi Carcela? They good enough for a Juve side with hopes of challenging for European glory? or for any top team in general?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 8, 2012

I believe they are both good signings for top flight clubs. Labyad needs time to develop but has the potential and Carcela could make an instant impact.

      • comment avatar N.Loureiro January 8, 2012

        DANKE!

  • comment avatar Karl January 10, 2012

This guy is a beast as an inside forward on the right side. Got him on loan being Vitesse in the Dutch league and he’s at least getting an assist per game and the occasional goal, either via his long range shots or in the box. Such a good buy for a lower table EPL team tbh.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 10, 2012

Good to hear mate, he certainly looks more than talented enough for mid-table EPL and in the future should grown worthy of most top teams.

  • comment avatar Karl January 10, 2012

Oh yeah also, what about Danny Da Costa of Leverkusen?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 10, 2012

I don’t rate him to be honest mate.

  • comment avatar one January 11, 2012

what do you think about pedro cm form sampdoria ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 11, 2012

I don’t think much to him to be honest, certainly wouldn’t be drawn to sign him as those technical attributes are too short.

  • comment avatar Paul Rodriguez January 18, 2012

hey this is funny, I can’t find any john fleck on my game.

  • comment avatar Alican Kutlu January 21, 2012

Not useful. I usually send him Wolves for loan.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 21, 2012

Not useful for you maybe, but I wouldn’t say he’s not useful in general as I’ve seen many people make this guy a real hero.

  • comment avatar Dino January 24, 2012

Hey Darren if you want I can send you another pic of Fleck’s stats which are quite better than shown above.

He is turning into a real beast and he is only 23 on my game.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 25, 2012

Yeah go for it mate, also send the career history too….but when you send the attributes pic make sure its from the overview page as opposed to attributes one. So the one that shows attributes in one column and other data all separated.

      • comment avatar Dino January 25, 2012

I shall take them as they’re shown above.

I’ll just post them here. with his career stats. :)

  • comment avatar Commie February 22, 2012

Signed him for my West Ham team at the beginning of the season with an option to buy for 3.3.
    20+ goals
    20+ assists
    highest rating in league
    won best player

Was ideal in a 4411 formation playing in the hole with as a trequartista. Has a tendency to shoot from distance and scores a lot of goals from one-time shots. Ended up buying him at the end of the season and am currently 3 games into the prem season – doing just as well. Set him for corner taking+free kick duties – puts absolutely magnificent balls into the box from dead ball situations. Currently playing with a high work rate target man.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith February 23, 2012

Yeah I think if treated correctly he can be a real asset.

      • comment avatar Commie February 24, 2012

Appears to be a bit of a conflict when playing him with a “target man” striker in a 4411 formation. Comes in rather deep to get the ball and ends up isolating the striker who is unwilling to make a run for a throughball. Currently experimenting with a faster striker with a “poacher” setting who will try and make a run into channels giving Fleck and option to pass. Then again, this could be the fault of my formation rather than anything to do with Fleck himself.

        • comment avatar Darren Smith February 24, 2012

To be fair I often find similar issues to yours but with AMC’s and using two upfront, that is why I always play one upfront and three central midfielders complimented by two AM’s on the wings…I think its just about getting the mix right to be honest.
