Isco

Age: 19

Position: AMC/MC

Club: Malaga

Nationality: Spanish

Value: £9 million

Price tag: £17.5 million (patch 12.2)

Isco’s profile in 2011 (after starting new game, patch 12.2)

Isco’s scouting report from Ryan on Man Utd

Isco’s profile aged 30 in the year 2022

Isco’s career history until 2022

This FM 2012 player profile of Isco has been delayed due to my lack of a good future profile. The Spaniard has fantastic technical skills and the makings of a brilliant playmaker. £17.5 million isn’t exactly cheap but that figure may drop and even if not, just look what the kid can grow into. I think Isco could develop beyond the screenshots above, but even if not, his technique, passing, creativity and flair are to dream for. A true wonderkid in my eyes, but one that hasn’t developed enough in my future save to warrant a higher rating.

Best buy rating: 8/10

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 2, 2012

Yeah he is an excellent prospect and should be able to perform beyond these future screenshots.

I bought this guy for 5 million in my Birmingham save in my 2nd season. BEAST!!!

Hey mate, I love your blog, and Isco is a great player! I do have a question though: have you ever checked out Bifouma? I just bought him with Montpellier, and he seems very promising (and really cheap), what do you think?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 3, 2012

Thanks Jeremy, I just checked that player on my future save but he hasn’t developed at all unfortunately and wouldn’t be good enough for a profile.

This lad always is put on the transfer list at the end of all of my saves and is up by request which will make him easier to sign. I have never given him a go before but based on the profile i will give him a go in the future. By the way great site and reall useful, keep the hard work up. P.S. I have had some better results with a few players you have done profiles on such as Niang, Hazard, Nangis, Montoya and ruben yttergård jenssen if you fancy a look let me know

Thanks Dan, if you feel that you have some far better screenhsots then we are always open to looking at them yes.

Hey darren, i’m a big fan of your blog. All the profiles of the players you have done are amazing. Can you check out Krisztián Adorján? He’s pretty good.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 4, 2012

He is decent at best on my future save I’m afraid, better looking elsewhere I think but glad the blog is helping.

Hey mate, another good profile :) You should check out Pierre-Michel Lasogga. Turns out to be quality, scores a lot of goals..

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 5, 2012

Unfortunately he hasn’t developed well in my save so I can’t profile him based on the screenshots I have.

  • comment avatar Dan Heineman May 4, 2012

What would be the easiest way for me to upload the above mentioned profiles?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 5, 2012

If you take screenshots of the players ‘overview’ ‘profile’ not his ‘overview’ ‘attributes’ and also capture his career history using something like Pickpic, then just email them to me darrensmith360@googlemail.com

  • comment avatar N.Loureiro May 5, 2012

Didn’t you coach him at Malaga, Darren?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 5, 2012

I had one of my crazy moments and sold him during the first season because I didn’t think I’d use him…mistake!

      • comment avatar N.Loureiro May 5, 2012

        Shame on you! :p

A very, very interesting looking player. I’m about to start a Fiorentina save after dominating in my Liverpool one.

How come there is no profile of Babacar? He was a beast on FM2011 and from what I’ve seen of him in FM2012 on my Liverpool save he is all pretty good. I never actually signed him however so it’s all CPU management.

    • comment avatar Nate May 7, 2012

And what about Leonel Galeano? He was a beast last year. Your report on him is what helped bring him to the limelight.

      • comment avatar Darren Smith May 7, 2012

Babacar is a good player but not as good as in FM11 and to be honest the main reason we haven’t profiled him is due to poor development…its not to say he won’t develop but we don’t have a great future profile yet. I’ll check with Karl to see if he has a better future screenshot. As for Galeano, he was immense in FM11 but he isn’t as good this year.

        • comment avatar Nate May 7, 2012

Ah fair enough, I guess I’ll probably end up sticking to either Fierro or Niang, both tried and tested players.

  • comment avatar Tito May 14, 2012

Isco is a great youngster and I usually makes him as a advance playmaker , Darren how about his teammate Recio, is he develop or not?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 14, 2012

Unfortunately he hasn’t enjoyed the same development on my save.

  • comment avatar joop May 22, 2012

bought him for 17.5 million in the summer going into my second season; decided I needed a rotation with Wilshere at Arsenal.

Scores a hattrick on his debut; against Tottenham away from home, and sets up a goal for RVP and we win 1-4.
delighted with him already as you can imagine!

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 22, 2012

Glad he’s working well for you, certainly seems to have the potential for monster attributes.

  • comment avatar danny May 29, 2012

darren can you check juanmi from malaga ive started a malaga save

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 29, 2012

He’s good but not got a profile due to not reaching his potential and the asking price. I’d keep him as Malaga though.

  • comment avatar Iker Muniain June 27, 2012

Darren if you still had isco were would you play him in your arsenal tactic having trouble with his form

    • comment avatar Darren Smith June 27, 2012

I could only think on CM advanced playmaker role in that tactic.

  • comment avatar Sid July 19, 2012

Half way into 4th season with Valencia and i am thinking of bringing him back to Mestalla

@Tito I signed Recio in my first season itself and played him as deep-lying playmaker,Good player to have as back-up, Barring couple of bad performances he usually averages over 7 in my all 4 seasons so far
