This FM 2012 player profile of Ignacio Camacho doesn’t show the midfielder at his best. While managed by myself at Malaga he did develop very well but still has more room to grow as I used him as second string to in the middle. With more first team football instead of sub appearances he could grow beyond the future profile you see. But Camacho is still a very well rounded player with a bit of everything. My only worry is that he doesn’t specialize as such in any area, meaning the £17.5 million asking price is a little high.

Best buy rating: 7.5/10

i always liked this guy, especially in the previous game.

If it’s not too much to ask, which role did you usually give him. Deep-Lying playmaker, Central Midfielder or perhaps Ball Winning midfielder?

I ask because I want to buy him.

Also, how do his team-mates, Isco, Recio and Juanmi develop? Any good?

I used him as ball winning midfielder but that’s only to suit my tactic, you may be best using him as central midfielder with support duty. As for the names mentioned I haven’t seen them achieve anything.

It depends since I usually vary between your arsenal tactic, my own 4-3-3 (one defensive midfielder and two cms) and that 4-3-3 Barcelona Tactic that one of your colleagues posted on the tactics section of the site. In both yours I’d definitley use him as a ball winning midfielder, in mine as a defensive midfielder with defend duty but in the Barcelona 4-3-3 setup I’d be better off using him as a deep-lying play maker with. defend duty.

Just my 2 cents. I still have to buy him…though for that kind of money I’d rather get Vass, Crisetig, Jali or Johannes Geis all much cheaper by comparison. Speaking of which, how does the CPU manage Geis in your saves? Any good?

I can’t find Geis in my save.

Darren…whats your thoughts on turning him into a ball playing centre back…similar to gerard pique I’m thinking…But his height and jumping arent great….

I think his best position is centre midfield with support duty like you’ve said…I’ve seen him dominate games against me…but with adam vass avaiable for so cheap i find it hard to justify the money spent on this guy in comparison…also u have Kara in a similar position for cheap too…

    Enjoying this network very much…

You could do but there are much better options in my opinion.

Ehhhh, Puyol is just a centimeter taller than him, and former Milan great, Franco Baresi is himself one centimeter taller thab Puyol. Heck Beckenbauer himself wasn’t tall, 1.81 cms.

If you are good, you are good.

    That’s my opinion anyways.

Camacho is amaizing player . he work more than 4 midfilders on a place . and he make great games in big matches , even his atributes dont show ,he is a key part from any team.

He was transfer listed for £2mil at the start of S2 for me (12.2) only wants 15K a week as well.

Seems like a definite purchase at that price.
Bought him for Southampton, I’m aiming for a mid table finish after reaching the Premiership

Certainly would be a snap at that price.

This guy used to be good on the previous games
I dont know why he sucks on my team these days… maybe my tactics doesn’t suit him …

He’s just very bland and won’t shine in midfield to be honest, more of a work horse type player.
