Ongenda’s career history until 2020

Ongenda is a great buy for any club, his pace can rip any defence to shreds and his finishing and composure to slot the ball past any keeper. I rate him as highly as Fierro, Niang and Sanogo. Although he has not scored as many goals as he can, it can be because of bad service, not fitting into the tactic or chances being scarce. Whatever it is he has still achiever rating of 7+ every season. You would be mad not to sign this guy for a measly £2 million.

Best buy rating: 10/10

Great profile Karl, I have been recommended this kid a few times and constantly been frustrated by not finding the right future profile to match his ability but you’ve certainly got that, a great buy.

Thanks Darren, the computer usually destroys him but I’ve found one where he has grown to his potential and is absolutely amazing. He’s a steal for £2 million!

Unfortunately, the computer usually ruins him on my saves, but when he turns out good his amazing!

Which one is a better poacher, Ongenda or Fierro?

    • comment avatar Karl Deighton June 17, 2012

I’m not sure, that’s quite a difficult decision. I’d go for fierro

is it better for a young player like ongenda to be at my club (arsenal) and train on my schedule and play for the reserves or sometimes coming up as a substitute or is it better to loan him to a championship or league one club where he would be a first team regular but would be on worse training schedule and training facilities?

    • comment avatar Karl Deighton August 2, 2012

This is a tricky topic, if he gets games at Arsenal, around 15-20 per season then you should keep him. But if he is not playing you should think about loaning him out

Do you think he could develop more than what is shown in the future screenshot ?

    • comment avatar Karl Deighton August 7, 2012

Errrmmmm….On this save he has developed extremely well and is one of the best strikers in the world, but players usually develop better with management from the player of the game so I would say he can but only slightly

Wow, I can’t believe I’ve only heard of this guy now. For 2million he’s a steal! What’s his best role when using him up front?

    • comment avatar Karl Deighton August 10, 2012

PSG usually leave him to rot but in this save he has done extremely well. I think his best role is poacher but I think he can also play treq or advanced forwards.

  • comment avatar Darren August 13, 2012

in my game he was signed by city do you reckon hes worth 5 million?

  • comment avatar Josh Coulter October 22, 2012

On my Stoke City save, year 2017, he has scored at least 50 goals (all comps) every season. He is also worth £32 million.

  • comment avatar Fazzgoy December 6, 2012

Played PSG for the 6th season in a row, i turned him into a deep lying striker, duet with kevin gameiro its very scary to defenders,
