This FM 2012 player profile of Eugene Konoplyanka shows great potential but still doesn’t do the Ukrainian justice. This kid has all the makings of a dangerous left winger and certainly develops into one with Liverpool scoring 7 goals and assisting 22 from 2014-2016. All of this was with the CPU’s management, so its safe to say that Eugene can develop beyond what you see above. Develop his pace, acceleration, finishing and crossing just a few more points from the future screenshots above and you’ll have a quality left winger. £8.5 million isn’t exactly cheap but Konoplyanka seems worth the investment if you are prepared to offer first team football.

Best buy rating: 7.5/10

It’s a good player, but is very expensive. On South America, will be possible to find better players and with a cheaper price.

I’m in my first season at QPR 6 months into the season in 8th place, have a budget of 3.5 million or loan would be fine, looking for atticking midfielder preferably experienced. Any ideas?

Thanks but his work permit is illegible any other players?

I love Konoplyanka’s flair and dribbling which promises a lot of created chances even in the first season. He’d be a good capture for most mid-table teams but the price is a bit too steep for that tier in my opinion. Yet one can always build a very structured deal with min. goals scored and whatnot to balance out the expenses a bit.

I have him on my Real Betis save, managed to sign him second season for £4.5 million as I was in the Europa League. He has performed well and has helped the club qualift for the champions league and been a top performer in the CL. I just find he tends to lack an end product; will skin a couple of players but player a bad ball. He also tries the most audacious shots I’ve ever seen, scoring about 1 a season. A top player yet extremely frustrating.
