This FM 2012 player profile of David Alaba shows a brilliant talent that can boss the midfield. £28 million is  a lot of money but Alaba  can make a huge difference from day one and grow to be one of the Worlds best. Alaba’s future profile above is very promising but not that of his full potential, to see that you need to sign him, offer a good training schedule and offer consistent first team football. Alaba has a little bit of everything with some exceptional areas to edge him into the world class category.

Best buy rating: 8/10

very good player for future…ive seen him dominate games for man city…

have you looked at a player called Bressan from BATE…whether he will turn world class is debatable…but avaiable for as little as 800k hes a great signing for midtable and below teams…a cheap player of great ability and settles very quickly…

Another player is jay rodriguez (burnley)…looks intereting…high finishing and composure…im dont think he’ll become world class tho

Finding young english players is certainly a challenege in its self…

Yeah I have looked at Bressan and he does develop very well I’m sure, but I am trying to wait for the right future profile before I report on him. I don’t want to do him an injustice with the below par profiles I’ve seen of him to date.

yay! thanks for this one, Darren.

He can really boss the midfield but he can also be used to just as devasting effects when deployed on the left wing as an inside-forward with attck duty. Though I cannot confirm this fully since I only use him there when Thomas Muller is either injured, suspended or unfit. Still, he always scored higher 7.5 when I played him there.

Darren, I have a problem, The game is asking me to register a player that is not from my team. What do I do?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith January 26, 2012

I have no idea, I haven’t seen that one before…what do you mean exactly? That its asking you to register a player that isn’t in your match day squad? OR register a player that is in someone elses team….can you elaborate.

      • comment avatar N.Loureiro January 26, 2012

asking me to register a player that is from someone else’s team.

        • comment avatar Darren Smith January 26, 2012

Ow I see, that is a glitch with your game then and I’d suggest just registering him and see what happens next.

          • comment avatar N.Loureiro January 26, 2012

tried it, game crashed. loaded the game took control of the team and registered him.

next time i’ll just remove the league.

Which league was it by the way? I like to know about these bugs for anyone else who asks.

It was the MLS. I know strange, but in past games I have found good regens there.
