Alex Sandro’s career history until 2017

This FM 2012 player profile of Alex Sandro shows a full back that can break up play and then launch fast attacks down the wing. As you can see from Sandro’s stats in 2017 the Brazilian develops into the perfect modern day full back. Due to his impressive attacking attributes this kid is destined to assist which will result in high average ratings if used and trained correctly. The £18.5 million asking price is a little steep but Sandro could walk into most starting XI’s and has tonnes of room for growth.

Best buy rating: 8/10

is alex sandro better than jack robinson ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 20, 2011

They are both very different players. Robinson is very strong defensively, mentally and physically but rubbish going forward. Whereas Sandro is excellent technically going forward and more of a modern day wing back meaning he can assist. He’s got excellent pace and acceleration but his defensive side isn’t as good and neither is his mental attributes. Depends on what you look for in a full back.

im looking for one dl that does both atack and defend. if we train robinson does he evolves better ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 20, 2011

While Robinson can improve his attacking areas he’ll never be good enough in that area. I’d recommend going for Sandro.

hmm ok.. i already signed robinson and is comning in the end of the season porbably i will sell a.santos to get a.sandro

and one more question does alvaro vadillo from betis evolves well ?

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 20, 2011

Quite a few people have asked me that, Vadillo does seem to have a lot of potential but he’s not developed into a star on my save but I think he might do with lots of first team football and excellent training…in all honesty I don’t think he’s worth the risk though.

ok . i will give it a shot . beacause it seems have potential he needs is the right push up

I went for Ricardo Rodriguez over Sandro to back up Robinson in my Liverpool save purely for money reasons, hopefully i dont regret it.

    • comment avatar Darren Smith December 21, 2011

From what I’ve seen Rodriguez looks good and if its backup your after he should be more than ample…besides he’s reasonable going forward which adds something different to Robinson.

Bought Sandro for 12M Euro after the 2nd season even though FCP did quite well in ECC and in the league. Wonder if his price drops with time, and if so, you might wanna wait a season or two before signing him. And he’s trully amazing when overlapping my AML. I’m scoring some pro goals from his assists and after coaching him on a bit of possitioning and tackling, he’s still decent in defence. Helps that I have a covering DC on that side :P One thing’s for sure, you can’t run away from him.

In my previous season I had Digne as my main DL, and he was only 1,5 stars. This injection of quality on that side is mindblowing. I suspect that he could be coached on the ML possition and do tremendously being both an attacking winger and helping the defence.

Yeah having Sandro in my Brazil side was brilliant, the kid is immense going forward and that makes him very special.

I noticed you have the Man.City badge on Sandro’s history. How did you get the Premier League badges for your game?

  • comment avatar Matt April 26, 2012

I can see Robinson is better defensively he is only 5″6 which worries me and Alex Sandro is just brilliant going forward

    • comment avatar Darren Smith April 26, 2012

Yeah I remember Robinson was good defensively but never did much going forward for me whereas Sandro managed to create havoc down the line switching with the winger.

  • comment avatar Le Dzung May 22, 2012

In my save game, FCP wants 16,75mil for this guy in 2nd season. I’m really in need of a top DL. So I wonder it’s a good deal or not? (Jack Robinson is just at 7,1mil, but he does not want to join my Sunderland, even on loan)

    • comment avatar Darren Smith May 22, 2012

If there aren’t any other good options I’d say that is a good deal.

Im thinking of selling Aly Cissokho for big money and getting Sandro as a replacement since he’s unhappy at his current club (AC milan).

Question is, who better ? Aly or Alex

    Season 15/16

    • comment avatar Shirish K July 14, 2012

and also Man City have been after Aly for sometime now, and offering like 20m for him.

      • comment avatar Darren Smith July 14, 2012

I’d personally go for Sandro if you can get that sort of money for Cissokho.

        • comment avatar Shirish K July 16, 2012

brilliant. im nearing the winter transfer window and AC milan have Finally transfer listed him.

          • comment avatar Darren Smith July 16, 2012

That will make him a must buy then.
