This FM 2012 Championship Player Profile of Ronnie Henry shows a wonderful lower league defender. I initially had concerns over Henry’s pace and acceleration which are pretty shocking, but after signing for Burnley he was the best right back in the Championship in my save. Ronnie was in the top 5 for average rating and man of the match performances proving he can mix it in that league. At just £75K he’s well worth the risk and those wages of around £2.7K p/w will hardly be noticed. I personally rely on pace so Henry gets a 7.5 rating from me, but if quickness isn’t so vital for your tactic then he’d be worth a 8.5 for sure.

Best buy rating: 7.5/10

I must say he has been an absolute LEGEND for my team – he is averaging 7.43 overall after 25 games. He is virtually indestructible and has scored 7 goals all with his head. He may not be the fastest but he… Read more »

Also, have you cast your eye over Scott Laird, also of Stevenage? He looks as good as, if not better, than Ronnie but a bit pricier.
