This FM 2012 Championship Player Profile of Michael Bostwick shows a versatile player with Premier League potential. Lets get the negatives out of the way first, its obvious Bostwick lacks pace, agility and acceleration, three attributes many see as vital. But those attributes aren’t so low that they would majorly effect Bostwick at Championship level. However, all three can improve dramatically with training and Bostwick has many strengths. He can play equally as well at center back or central midfield. Use him as your ball playing defender or ball winning midfielder. £1.2 million is quite a lot for this level, but the future screenshots above show the fee is warranted. Bostwick joined Southampton in my save, enjoying a storming first season in the Championship. He still remained first choice after promotion and even played outstanding in the top flight of English football. If the asking price was less, I’d give him 9.5/10, but there’s a bonus in his wage expectations of just £4.7K per week.

Best buy rating: 8.5/10

Yeah he is a really good player considering how far down the leagues he starts.

He is the only player that survived my Stevenage team’s rise to the premier league. It is 2020, we are champions and he still plays quite often. The fact that he can fill in both in defence and midfield is really helpful.

He does seem like one of few Championship level signings that could go on to make an impact in the EPL, Stevenage have some very good players.

Yeah that is what makes him such a good lower league signing, he can stay with your team for quite some time.
