Badelj at the start in 2010

This Croatian is a great player and at 21 is already a good player for the Premier League. His first touch, passing, technique, flair and creativity show that he is a playmaker, and a good one too. At the start he is hunted by teams like Aston Villa and Liverpool, showing just how good he is.

I have to disagree with Cagigao on this, Badelj is already a 3* player with 3.5 – 4* potential in my opinion. I’ve already managed this guy under Birmingham and he is currently 3.5*, and we are now better than Arsenal. He got a work permit due to being classed as a key player, this is probably the only way he will be granted one as he has only just started to become a regular for his country.

Badelj in 2019, aged 30

Stat-wise he hasn’t made that much of an improvement, but he has been tearing up Liga BBVA and is leading his team to be the best in Spain. He is constantly getting 7.3+ average ratings every season and has proved to be more than worth the £24.5m they had to spend on him. His performances are amazing and now he is one of Croatia’s most capped players, and also considered the best Croatian player in the country overview.

My Best Buy Rating: 10/10

Yep, he is that good. An integral part of the team in my save and for Atletico Madrid is this save, it underlines just how good he is and he will sign for pretty much any Premier League team, just make him a key player with wages slightly higher than his demands and he will reject the likes of Liverpool to join you.

I’m sorry Jeremy but we aren’t updating this far back, there’s too much to be done for the new game I’m afraid.
