Welcome to our Football Manager 2013 best cheap players list. Here you can find the biggest list of FM 2013 cheap players and the list will continue to grow throughout the year. The table below is completely interactive, you can order it by asking price, age and position etc. We’ve even given these Football Manager 2013 cheap players a star rating based on their quality and bargain value.
If that’s not enough try clicking on each players name to view their comprehensive player profile. These FM13 cheap player profiles show a current profile taken from the start of the game, all the players relevant details, a scouting report and then the players future profile from the year 2017 and beyond. That’s right, we are showing you what the player could develop into just by clicking his name. This is surely the most in depth Football Manager 2013 best cheap players list around.
Please remember that all asking prices and details are subject to who you make a bid with. We make all our bids during the first week of a newly loaded save, with the large database loaded, including England, Italy, Spain, Argentina and Brazil loaded as playable. If you don’t do the same, then chances are the asking price will vary.

I’ve got a few that i always bought on 2012, some of em are also great in fm2013. Will post em later when i get home.
Cornel Rapa or something from Otelul (Right defender)
(give me a break doing this by heart)
Xulu (african club)
Tsashabala or something
I see u found kara already
From what I’ve seen Xulu is decent, not amazing but a decent signing if cheap.
Can u take a look at Samed Yesil ? I hope he can become a top player ..
With the right guidance he could get good yes, maybe not incredible but a solid striker thats for sure.
buy Bryan Rabello from colo – colo
he is just 15B (in rupiahs)and he has potential to be a quality player
He looks very talented at the start but hasn’t fulfilled it in my save unfortunately.
Dodo
Capuano, Marco
Rapa, Cornel
Galeano, Leonel
Juninho
Kara
Xulu, Siyanda
Tshabalala, Siphiwe
Henriksen, markus
Jali, Andile
Not cheap but good
Wilfried
Benitez (MEX)
Dudu
Some good players there, we’ve got a lot to get through but will come back to those suggestions at a later date.
Victor Andrade!

If he improves, he’ll be the biggest talent in the game!
Not really lived up to what he seems to be in my save.
You’re missing bressan, 0.8 and is good enough for this list. Admilton is a beast. Also you’re probably missing Wallace (I think it’s name), the brazilian right defender.
This list is working progress, it is updated every single day. Unlike other sites we don’t just give a random list of names we actually profile every single player so it takes time.
Best striker: Ademilson
He definitely is, I think the profile in the list above is proof enough.

!!!!!
I have already had him suggested but he hasn’t improved his physical attributes at all in my save so not worth profiling, he’s have terrible fatigue and seriously struggle to finish a game unless those attributes were improved.
Some decent, but very cheap players for the defence you might wan’t to consider for this list.
Rúben, LB – Marítimo ₤1m
Jores Okore, CB – FC Nordsjælland ₤1,3m
František Rajtoral, RB -Viktoria Plzeň ₤1,6m
Thanks, we’ll consider them.
What do you think of Emre Colak and Semih Kaya from Galatasaray?
Can they develop into world class players?
Kaya is good, just a shame his physical stats aren’t great (they didn’t develop in my save), Emre isn’t visible in my game so I assume you need to load the Turkish leagues.
I got Bressan for free to Newcastle the first season i January. And in on my 4th season now and he is a beast! 10 goals and 8 assist in 15 games! Have you missed him? Becouse hus profile is the same as in FM12.
We haven’t missed him, he just hasn’t developed at all in my future save so I can’t profile him as we need good screenshots. If Bressan has developed very well for you I’d love to have a screenshot of his profile and career history. Then we can add him.
I would add Simao of Shandong.
Very very cheap and good.
He’s not mid-table EPL quality in my opinion, close but not quite there so I’m afraid we won’t be profiling him, very good for second tier sides though.
I don’t really have anything to add, just wanted to say thanks for putting this up!
No problem, thanks for the comment.
Very good page. I’m new to playing football manager on pc as alway played handheld version. Starting out with Liverpool and as expected, hard to attract established names so these cheap signings might be just the ricket. Which wide men and strikers would you recommend i sign for liverpool straight away?
Have a look through the wonderkid list as well there might be some good players there also. I haven’t played as Liverpool so couldn’t say who will and won’t move to you.
yer like Henry, Darren I’m finding it hard finding the right wide men and striker in the cheap players or wonderkids list I know there will eventually be as I read through this last year and it was fantastic but is their any players that your profiling and could recommend me, cheaper players would be much more of a help
There aren’t many good cheap wingers that’s the problem. When we find them we’ll profile them.
I’ll take a closer look when things calm down this week…I may not have the best future screenshots but will try and find some players regardless.
You really need Rilwan Hassan from FC Midtjylland – he is availible for 1.2 mio. and he is a very good winger
And Leonard Kweuke – has a causul in his contract making him availible for 3 mio. He plays for Sparta Prag as a striker (Target man)
- Many bigger club want him and after a transfers his value rise to 9 mio.
We will be taking a look at him.
I personally don’t rate him, this list is for minimum mid-table top league teams aspiring for the top four.
In my game Leonard Kweuke is wanted by Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Lyon, PSG and so on. I think he is good enough for this list. Rilwan is too. He has better stats than Igboun, he is cheaper and has a better potential than Igboun.
You need to add Felipe Anderson (£5 mio), Edwin Valencia (free), Demba Ba (£7 mio) – there is a lot of them
are*
I’m sure I’ve already answered this comment saying we’ll take a look at Kweuke, Rilwan isn’t very good IMO (I won’t repeat that again,) and I didn’t do the Igboun profile so won’t comment on that. Anderson will get looked at once we’ve got cheaper and better players profiled, Edwin Valencia is decent but we have other players to profile first and this list has a limit of £6 mill asking price so Ba is too expensive.
Remember every player gets a full in depth profile so we can only do so much at once.
Sorry misunderstood your answer before
- Even if you have a £6 mil limited price, I would make an exception with Ba because he is so good
He certainly is but we have these limits for a reason, you’d say it should be £7m to allow for Ba whereas others will complain because the list doesn’t seem cheap.
Have you looked into Stevan Jovetic? He is sure great as an addition to top EPL clubs. Very intelligent and versatile. Did the magic for my Tottenham. Maybe not the cheapest but definetly value for money.
This list has a cap of $6 million which Jovetic would far exceed.
Hey, I’ve actually managed to get top 5 with Stoke without buying players since my wage budget was already 100k over, but I am trying to use this list to get a few cheap, young additions, though has not worked. Comes down to tactics, which I believe you made my tactic
Well we like to cover all the bases at FMS so hopefully if the players don’t work the guides or tactics will.
I’m currently with Swansea and need a good AML can you please help me. Thanks
Have you tried Lazovic? He’s cheap, not natural on the left but can be trained to be.
Not sure if he’s in your save but Blackburn bought Ole Kristian Selnæs in mine and he took them back into the premiership virtually on his own, looks decent for a cheap player.
Not in my save I’m afraid.
i got Ole Kristian Selnæs from rosenbourg hes got a release fee of £600k and becomes the best cm in the game won world player of the year 3 times.i sold him to barca for £35m,only problem is you need the norway league open on your game to find him
I have experienced him in another game and he seems very good…but as you said, only visible with Norway loaded of which few people bother doing.
Any advice on team tactics for Newcastle? 2 friendlies in and 4-2-3-1 doesn’t seem to be providing the attacking impetus I expected and ba isn’t suited to playing behind the cf on the left of a 3. I’ve signed Wellington Nem so need accommodate him and Ben arfa.
I’d recommend this one http://www.footballmanagerstory.com/2012/11/football-manager-2013-best-tactic-4-5-1-with-fluid-attacking-football/
Cheers man, I’ll give it a look.
Great site guys, really helpful. I have a question for you…
I’m running FM13 on a fairly old PC. I have about 6 nations selected. Any more would seriously slow the game down.
Is there any way i can get some of the players from the scandinavian and brazilian leagues into my game using the editor? without ‘cheating’ and throwing them straight into the club i want to manage?
I like to start off in the championship and i’m struggling to find midfield players good enough for the premiership at good prices.
any help much appreciated. thanks
High Jack, unless you load the countries within Scandinavia etc you will be limited. But there is another option….I’d recommend loading just England, then instead of selecting the large database pick custom and within that screen select Europe, N. America and S. America form the continents and just tick the players with national reputation option, before pressing OK make sure the database is set to large (that option is above where you just set the continents. Now you should have better options.
You should take a look at Omer Damari, 15 finishing, 15 pace and he costs around £1.2 million. Plays in Israel, I think it’s Hapoel Tel-Aviv.
Not visible with the standard database we load.
I accidentally clicked ‘leave match’ after a good victory following a poor run before I give my post match team talk. I checked the team talk feedback in the match report and most of the team were confused and disappointed. Anything I can do to rectify this and is it likely to have an affect?
No once its done its done I’m afraid…but the good news is one poor team talk won’t wreck a season, it will take more than that, you should be fine.
Cool, cheers Darren.
Frederick Mitsjo and Svensson. Both are from Norwegian clubs and are really great.
Maybe not so cheap on wages, but what about Llorente on a precontract first season counting as cheap?
Unfortunately all our prices are based on the very start of a new game, and Llorente wouldn’t be available on a pre-contract at that time.
I have some decent bargains i’d like to share, these are since the update. Some might not be within the criteria you’re looking for but at least other users with be able to have a look at them. I’ve tried to give a approximate price for them too.

Thanks we will look at them over time.
No worries
Strongly recommend N’Djeng, Chibuike, Kalaba, Okore & Maupay
TBH all of these are way below par for this list, based on our test save anyway, there are a few that I am aware can develop but those ones aren’t visible with out standard database.
no worries darren, most of them i came across whilst playing in the championship. i’m sure some of them will be benefit to a few users who read the comments anyway. thanks for taking a look.
Yeah I’m sure there will be some readers find that useful indeed, after all not everyone needs world class talent, lots of us want those bargains for the lower levels too.
Is Leonardo Paredes any good?
Sorry he doesn’t show in my test save so must require the country he plays in loaded or a custom database of some sort.
Koray Gunter of borussia dortmund.. sick turkish defender!
gokhan töre is also a pace winger !
He has talent but just not fulfilled it in our test save, when he does we can profile him. Tore just has too many very poor attributes, the key areas are good but a few things let him down so he’s not a priority at the moment.
who is your most recommended italians or other best cheapest defender centre, of course those who are willing to play for my Parma team, thank you
I couldn’t possibly know who would move to Parma & I don’t know your budget but based on the list above Lisandro Lopez should work. I’d suggest using the in game filtered search tool though.
Cedric Badjeck (fcutrecht), Thom Haye (AZ Alkmaar), Remi Streete (new castle), Adryan (flumese) and Nathan Aké (Chelsea) are very good talents. Can you take a look at them?
The first two aren’t visible unless you load the country they play in which we don’t. Streete could be good with the right development but never gets that with AI management so we don’t have a good enough profile, Adryan has already been profiled and Ake has never progressed enough in our test saves.
How about lukas piazon and fillipo boniperti
Not really done much in my test saves.
